Street photography of people - Monomad Challenge.
Yesterday, my father-in-law invited us to go out to eat at a place on the outskirts of the city, and since he picked us up in his car, I took the opportunity to bring my camera with me to take photographs of whatever caught my attention on the way. I must say it was a very fruitful day in terms of photography, I managed to take 16 photographs that I liked because all of them are full of their own stories.
I will start with this photography. The story behind it is that there was a man sitting on a piece of furniture. It might look "normal," but it was quite random because he was on a traffic island, literally in the middle of two streets, and in front of him, there was only a trash can, but he was there, like the king of his world:
Ayer mi suegro nos invitó a salir a comer a un sitio a las afueras de la ciudad y como el nos pasó buscando en su carro aproveché la oportunidad de llevar mi camara conmigo para tomar fotos de lo que sea que llamara mi atencion en el camino y debo decir que fue un dia muy fructifero en cuanto a fotografia, logré hacer 16 fotos que me gustaron pues todas estan llenas de sus propias historias.
Empezaré por esta foto, la historia detras es que habia un hombre sentado en un mueble, puede verse "normal" pero era bastante random porque estaba en una isleta, literalmente en medio de dos calles y en frente de el solo habia un basurero, pero el estaba allí, como el rey de su mundo.
The following photography is of the anonymous heroes who keep our city clean. What caught my attention the most is that all of them were quite young:
La siguiente foto es de los heroes anonimos que mantienen limpia nuestra ciudad, lo que mas llamó mi atencion es que todos eran bastante jovenes.
The following photography is of some stalls selling Christmas accessories that are set up on some streets only during the month of December, and behind them, the newest building in the city: modernity and tradition in a single photography:
La siguiente foto es de unos puestos de venta de accesorios navideños que instalan en unas calles solo durante el mes de diciembre, y detrás de ellos, el edificio mas nuevo de la ciudad, modernidad y tradición en una misma foto.
Speaking of tradition, the following two photographs are my favorites because they show a very Venezuelan tradition, something you can see all over Venezuela: a family preparing the traditional hallacas in December and cooking them with firewood outside their homes, almost in the street:
Hablando de tradicion, la siguientes dos fotos son mis favoritas pues muestran una tradicion muy Venezolana, algo que podrás ver en toda venezuela, una familia preparando las tradicionales hallacas en diciembre y lo cocinan con leña fuera de sus casas, casi en la calle.
The following photography is also one of my favorites. In it, I was able to capture 2 military personnel:

At this point, we had already moved away from the city, and the landscape change,; we start to see more nature and a different atmosphere...
I saw some people selling pork outdoors...:
En este punto ya nos habiamos alejado de la ciudad y el paisaje cambia, empezamos a ver mas naturaleza y otro ambiente...
Vi unas personas vendiendo cochino al aire libre...
Also, some men trying to fix a Volkswagen car:

I saw two Venezuelan empanada stands:

A gentleman who is clearly just starting his kiosk, with only what he has and step by step:
Un señor que se nota que recien está empezando su kiosco, con lo que puede y paso a paso:
This is the appearance of a grocery store, selling fruits and vegetables on the outskirts of my city. Although both photographs are of two different stores, they have the same essence:
Esta es la apariencia de una tienda de viveres, frutas y vegetales a las afuera de mi ciudad, aunque ambas fotos son de dos tiendas diferentes, conservan la misma esencia:
And I say goodbye with this photography of a man with a disheveled appearance pushing a cart. What impacted me the most during the few seconds I could observe him was that he was smiling the entire time despite carrying a heavy load!
Y me despido con esta foto de un hombre de aspecto descuidado empujando una carreta, lo que mas me impactó durante los pocos segundo que lo pude observar fué que todo el rato estuvo sonriendo a pesar de llevar una gran carga!
I took all these photographs with my Canon R8 camera and a 24-105mm lens from a moving car!
