Street photography - Monomad Challenge.
Today I am back with a new set of street photographs taken in the city of San Cristobal in Venezuela.
I want to start by showing you these two photographs, since in a world where digitalization is advancing more and more, the following two people are in danger of extinction. I think they are literally the last two people who sell newspapers in my city:
Hoy estoy de vuelta con un nuevo set de fotografias callejeras tomadas en la ciudad de San Cristobal en Venezuela.
Quiero empezar por mostrarles estas dos fotografias ya que en un mundo donde la digitalizacion avanza cada vez mas, las siguientes dos personas estan en peligro de extincion, creo que literalmente son las ultimas dos personas que venden periodicos en mi ciudad:
I can see them every morning in the same place trying to sell newspapers to the cars in traffic:
Puedo verlos todas las mañanas en el mismo lugar intentando venderle periodicos a los carros en el trafico:
Just like the following worker, it is becoming increasingly rare to see people pushing ice cream carts:
Al igual que el siguiente trabajador, cada vez es mas raro ver a las personas empujando carritos de helados:
Another informal worker pushing his cart full of things to sell through the streets:
Otro trabajador informal que va empujando por las calles su carrito lleno de cosas para vender:
I took the following photography because the back of the pickup truck was loaded with Christmas things!!
La siguiente foto la tomé porque la parte de atras de la camioneta iba cargada de cosas de navidad!!
What caught my attention in the following photography was that the girl was wearing a Christmas hat while holding her baby, she was buying something at a small grocery store :
De la siguiente foto lo que me llamó la atencion era que la chica estaba usando un gorro de navidad mientras sostenia a su bebé, ella estaba comprando algo en una bodega:
In another part of the city, I saw this pork vendor. I have always found it very visceral that they hang them like that outdoors...
En otro lugar de la ciudad, vi esta venta de cochinos, siempre me ha parecido muy visceral que los cuelguen así al aire libre...
And I also saw something very curious: a man on a motorcycle painted like a shark, it's very cool:
Y tambien vi algo muy curioso, un hombre en una motocicleta pintada de tiburon, es muy cool hahaha
And on another occasion, I came across this beautiful cat that was extremely adorable and friendly!!
Y en otra ocasion me topé con este hermoso gato que era demasiado adorable y amigable!!
I took all the photographs with my Canon R8 camera and a 50mm f/2.8 lens.
