Street photography from venezuela - Organic fruits and vegetables
When I do street photography I go through the city taking photos of everything that catches my attention and then I like to group the photos by themes so when I have enough photos I can make a publication about that.
Cuando hago fotografias callejeras voy por la ciudad haciendo fotos de todo lo que me llame la atencion y luego me gusta ir agrupando las fotos por temas, para cuando tenga suficiente fotos hacer una publicacion sobre eso.
In this case I wanted to talk and show these fruit and vegetable markets that can be found throughout the city and the most interesting thing was to discover that although this is very common here maybe in other parts of the world it is not so common.
En este caso, quise hablar y mostrar estos mercados de frutas y verduras que se pueden conseguir a lo largo de toda la ciudad y lo mas interesante fue descubrir que aunque esto es muy comun aqui, quizas en otras partes del mundo no es tan comun.
Here you can see small stores called bodegas full of natural colors fruits and vegetables that are 100 percent organic and usually have cheap prices from 0.50 dollars up to a maximum of 2 dollars per kilogram.
Aquí puedes ver tienditas llamads "bodegas" repletas de colores naturales, frutas y verduras que son 100% organicas y usualmente tienen precios baratos, desde $0.50 hasta maximo 2$ por kilogramo.
And this practice is not only reserved for formal commercial establishments it is also very common to see informal vendors selling fruits and vegetables in the streets whether in a car motorcycle or even dragging a cart with their own strength.
Y esta practica no solo queda reservada a los establecimientos comerciales formales, tambien es muy comun ver vendedores informales vendiendo frutas y vegtales en las calles, sea en carro, moto o incluso arrastrando una carreta con su propia fuerza...
The following photo is of a man who by his appearance you can tell that he himself planted and harvested the things he was selling in front of his house.
La siguiente foto es de un señor que por su apariencia se nota que el mismo sembró y cosechó las cositas que estaba vendiendo frente a su casa:
There are also certain points in the city where informal trade took part of the sidewalk to set up its vegetable sale and although this is illegal I must say that they relieve the pockets of Venezuelans a bit since in these places they sell very cheap.
Tambien hay ciertos puntos de la ciudad en donde el comercio informal tomó parte de la acera para montar su venta de verduras y aunque esto sea ilegal, debo decir que alivian un poco al bolsillo de los venezolanos, ya que en estos sitios venden muy barato.
