Street photography from Venezuela - Monomad Challenge.
Today I am back with a new set of photographs, in this case street photography from the city where I live. In these photographs, I aimed for people to be the protagonists, as this is an element that holds significant visual strength in street photographs.
I'll start by showing you my favorite photography of the set. This lady was sitting in the park with her dog, the scene looked very beautiful:
Hoy estoy de vuelta con un nuevo set de fotografias, en este caso fotografia de calle de la ciudad en la que vivo y en estas fotos busqué que los protagonistas fueran personas ya que este es un elemento que tiene bastante fuerza visual en las fotografias callejeras.
Empezaré por mostrarles mi foto favorita del set, esta señora estaba sentada en el parque junto a su perrito, la escena se veia muy bonita:
I approached a little closer and asked if I could take a photography of her dog as a way to break the ice. I spoke with the lady for a while, and it was a very nice interaction:
Me acerqué un poco mas y le pregunte si le podia hacer una foto a su perrito, como manera de romper el hielo, hablé un rato con la señora y fue una interaccion muy bonita.
In the same park, I saw another very beautiful scene, a dad teaching his son to ride a bicycle:
En el mismo parque vi otra escena muy bonita, un papá enseñandole a su hijo a manejar bicicleta:
In another part of the city, I saw a little dog tied to a light post. The funny thing is that it was wearing clothes hahaha:
En otro lado de la ciudad vi a un perrito atado a un postal de luz, lo curioso es que tenia ropa puesta hahaha
A lady walking with her dog. For me, it is very adorable to see older adults with their pets, because they are like their children:
Una señora caminando con su perrito, para mi es muy adorable ver a los adultos mayores con sus mascotas, porque son como sus hijos:
In Venezuelan cities, it is common to see elderly people sitting outside their houses:
En las ciudades de Venezuela es comun ver personas mayores sentadas fuera de sus casas:
A gentleman walking, wearing a casual hat:

A man buying at a small shop with the typical "symbolism" of bananas hanging outside to indicate that it is a bodega:

In Venezuela, it is common to see people siphoning gasoline from their cars to store it since we don't know when it might be needed:
En Venezuela es comun ver personas sacando gasolinas de sus carros para poder almacenarla ya que no sabemos cuando pueda hacer falta:

These Jeeps have always been my father's favorites. I wish I could give him one in the future if God allows me:
Estos jeeps siempre han sido los favoritos de mi padre, quisiera poder regalarle uno en un futuro si Dios me lo permite:
People exercising, this city is quite sporty!
Personas haciendo ejercicio, esta ciudad es bastante deportiva!
I took all the photographs with my Canon R8 camera and a 24-105mm f/4 lens.
