Street photography from Venezuela - Monomad challenge.
Today I want to share with you some more street photography that I've been collecting while doing things throughout the city.
I'll use this photos as an entry for the #Monomad Challenge contest.
I'll start with this photo of a very curious scene, a truck loaded with dirt got stuck on a small bridge.
It turns out that the bridge was crooked and although the truck was going straight, one of its wheels hit the edges of the bridge and got stuck... in the end I don't know how they managed to resolve this difficult situation.
And the worst thing is that this is the only entrance to this town.
Hoy les quiero compartir mas fotografias callejeras que he estado recopilando mientras hago cosas a lo largo de toda la ciudad.
Usaré estas fotos como entrada al concurso #Monomad Challenge.
Empezaré por esta foto de una escena muy curiosa, un camion cargado de tierra se quedó atorado en un puente pequeño.
Resulta que el puente estaba torcido y aunque el camion iba derecho, una de sus ruedas pegaron con los bordes del puente y quedó atorado... al final no supe como lograron resolver esa situacion tan dificil.
Y lo peor es que esa es la unica entrada al este pueblo.
The following two photos have something in common: hats, whenever I see someone wearing a hat I have to take a photo of them because it's an element that is not seen frequently.
Las siguientes dos fotos tienen algo en comun: sombreros, siempre que veo a alguien usando un sombrero le tengo que tomar una foto pues es un elemento que no se vé frecuentemente.
This man looks more like a cowboy.
Este señor parece mas a un vaquero.
I took this photo because the woman's body language seemed a little discouraged...
Esta foto la tomé porque el lenguaje corporal de la mujer me pareció un poco desanimada...
In another part of the city, more specifically in the midtown, I saw this scene, a woman was pushing her cart and almost dropped her things, she was struggling and everyone was just watching...
En otra parte de la ciudad, mas específicamente en el centro vi esta escena, una mujer estaba empujando su carrito y casi se le caen las cosas, ella estaba luchando y todos simplemente miraban...
This woman's cap said "Colombia" even though we are in Venezuela...
La gorra de esta mujer decia "Colombia" a pesar de que estamos en Venezuela...
A soldier, he looked very young.
Un militar, se veia muy joven.
I found it very curious how this motorcyclist carried a chair on the back of his motorcycle.
Me parecio muy curioso como este motorizado llevaba una silla en la parte de atras de su moto.
In the neighborhoods of Venezuela it is very common to see clothes hanging in the windows of houses:
En los barrios de Venezuela es muy comun ver ropa colgada en las ventanas de las casas:
And I took this photo because this church has always seemed very pretty to me but I have never seen it open.
Y esta foto la tomé porque esta iglesia siempre me ha parecido muy bonita pero sin embargo nunca la he visto abierta.
In the day to day of the city many things always happen, you have to be very aware to be able to appreciate them and not go on autopilot through life...

En el dia a dia de la ciudad siempre suceden muchas cosas, hay ser muy conscientes para poder apreciarlas y no ir en piloto automatico por la vida...
