Professional birthday portraits - Monomad Challenge.
This is the second part of the birthday photo session I did for a girl in my studio. This time the girl wore a very beautiful and elegant outfit that highlighted her feminine figure. For the "birthday" theme, we used heart-shaped balloons that gave a festive touch to the photos.
I started by taking some standing photos of her, first full-body and then a little closer:
Esta es la segunda parte de la sesion de fotos de cumpleaños que hice para una chica en mi estudio, en esta ocasion la chica usó un outfit bastante bonito y elegante que resaltaba sus figuras femeninas, para el tema de "cumpleaños" utilizamos unos globos en forma de corazon que dió el toque festivo a las fotos.
Comencé por hacerle algunas fotos de pie, primero a cuerpo completo y luego un poco mas cerca:
At this point in the photo session, the girl was already super relaxed and was enjoying her photo session.
A este punto de la sesion de fotos la chica ya estaba super relajada y estaba disfrutando su sesion de fotos.
The girl told me that very recently she went through a very difficult process and that she wanted to do this birthday photo session to cheer herself up a bit. She told me that she was going to choose two photos to print and keep in picture frames at home to never forget this stage she lived through.
La chica me dijo que hace muy poco tiempo pasó por un proceso muy fuerte y que quiso hacer esta sesion de fotos por su cumpleaños para alegrarse un poco la vida y me dijo que iba a escoger dos fotos para imprimir y conservarlas en unos portaretratos en su casa para nunca olvidar esta etapa que vivió.
For the following photos, I put the photopose cube on the set and that way we achieved more variety in the photos:

As I've told you many times, most of my clients are not models and don't have experience in front of cameras, so I'm always guiding/helping them with poses to make them feel more confident.
We explored different variations in the poses:
Como ya les he dicho muchas veces, la mayoría de mis clientes no son modelos ni tienen experiencia frente a camaras asi que yo siempre los estoy guiando/ayudandolos con las poses para hacerlos sentir mas seguros.
Exploramos diferentes variaciones en las poses:
For all the photos, I used my Canon R8 camera with a 50mm f/2 lens and two light sources: a Speedlite flash with a 50cm softbox as the main light and an LED light panel behind the person to create a rim light.
Para todas las fotos utilicé mi camara Canon R8 con un lente 50mm a 2/f y dos puntos de luces, un flash speed lite con un softbox de 50cm como luz principal y un panel de luz led detras de la persona para crear una luz de recorte.
And I took a photo a little closer:

And to finish the photo session, we took some photos without the balloons, just to have some without them. We only kept 2:
Y para finalizar la sesion de fotos hicimos dos fotos sin los globos, solo para tener algunas sin globos, solo nos quedamos 2 :
At the end of this photo session, both the girl and I were super happy with the results. I hope you like them as much as we do!
