Polas photo session for models - Monoma challenge.

It's a funny thing about life, ever since I did my first session of 'polas' it was like I had 'unlocked' them, and now I've been doing a lot more polas. This time, I worked with a modeling agency who needed these photos for their portfolio.

Pola photos are like a model's ID. They are simple photos, without much retouching or makeup, that show what the model is like naturally. These photos help agencies and clients see the model's potential and what they really look like.

I worked with several models that day and we did the same types of photos for all of them to make everything flow quickly. The first photo was a close-up:

Como cosa de la vida desde que hice mi primera sesion de polas fue como haberlas "desbloqueado" y ahora he estado haciendo un monton mas de polas, en esta ocasion trabaje junto a una agencia de modelaje quienes necesitaban estas fotos para su portafolio.

Las fotos pola son como el "DNI" de un modelo. Son fotos sencillas, sin mucho retoque ni maquillaje, que muestran cómo es el modelo al natural. Estas fotos ayudan a las agencias y clientes a ver el potencial del modelo y cómo luce realmente.

Trabajé con varias modelos ese dia y a todas les hicimos los mismos tipos de fotografia para que todo fluyera rapidamente, la primera foto fue en plano cercano:

The next photos we took were medium shots, each model chose their pose:

Las siguientes fotos que hicimos fue en plano mediano, cada modelo escogió su pose:

The following photos were full body, so far all the poses were very simple to show naturalness in the models.

Las siguientes fotos fueron cuerpo completo, hasta ahora todas las poses fueron muy sencillas para mostrar naturalidad en las modelos.

And finally, for the following photos, the models were asked to do a 'free pose' a little out of the ordinary and the naturalness we had been working with...

Y por ultimo, para las siguientes fotos se les pidió a las modelos que hagan una "pose libre" un poco fuera de lo comun y de la naturalidad que veniamos trabajando...

There were 8 models and I had to photograph them all in less than 1 hour, so we had to devise an efficient way to work to carry out the task and in the end we succeeded!

Eran 8 modelos y tenia que fotografiarlas a todas en menos de 1 hora asi que tuvimos que idear una forma de trabajar eficiente para llevar acabo la pauta y al final lo logramos!
