Photos of a baptism - Monomad Challenge.

A few days ago, I was hired by a lovely couple to document their daughter's baptism ceremony. They wanted to preserve these photos for a lifetime. I went to the church at the agreed time and was present throughout the ceremony, capturing all the key moments. I simply documented everything as it happened, without interrupting.

In the first photos, the priest was blessing the baby.

Hace unos dias fui contratado por una adorable pareja, ellos querian que les documentara todo la ceremonia de bautizo de su hija pues querian conservar estas fotografias para toda la vida.

Fui a la iglesia a la hora acordada y estuve presente durante toda la ceremonia haciendo fotografias en todos los momentos claves, yo estuve sin interrumpir en nada, simplemente documentnado todo lo que iba sucediendo.

En las primeras fotos el padre estaba bendiciendo a la bebe

Then came the moment everyone knows, when the baby is anointed with water for the baptism.

Y luego fue el momento que todos conocen, cuando el bebe es ungido en agua para el bautizo

And then a candle was lit in honor of the baby.

Y luego se encedio una vela en honor a la bebe

At the end of the ceremony, the priest allowed us to take some photos in the church. I started by taking a photo of the baby alone, and then with her parents.

Al finalizar la ceremonia el padre nos dio permiso para hacer algunas fotografias en la iglesia, empecé por hacerle una fotografía a la bebe sola y luego con sus papas:

I took many more photos, but in this post, I'm only showing you what I consider to be the best ones.

After the ceremony at the church ended, the baby's parents asked me to accompany them to their house to take more photos, as they had prepared a party in honor of the baby. Upon arriving, the first thing I did was take a couple of photos of the baby amidst the decorations.

Luego de que acabó la ceremonia en la iglesia los padres de la bebé me pidieron que los acompañara a su casa para hacer mas fotos ya que allá tenian preparada una fiesta en honor a la bebe, al llegar lo primero que hice fue hacerle un par de fotos a la bebe en medio de la decoraciones:

And then we changed her location to have variety in the photos.

Y luego la cambiamos de lugar para tener variedad en las fotografias:

Then I took a couple of photos of the happy family.

Luego le hice un par de fotografias a la familia feliz:

They love their dog very much and consider him part of their family, so the mother wanted to take a photo with the dog too!

Ellos aman muchisimo a su perro y lo consideran parte de su familia asi que la mama quiso hacerse una foto con el perro tambien!

I say goodbye with this last photo, which is very emotional. In the middle of the toast, the father got very sentimental and couldn't hold back tears of emotion.

Me despido con esta ultima foto que es muy emotiva, en medio del brindis el papá se puso muy sentimental y no pudo contener las lagrimas de emocion.
