Documentation of a XV Party - Monomad Challenge.
This Saturday, I had the honor of documenting a Quinceañera party, and I was able to capture some truly beautiful photos that will surely be cherished as special memories for a lifetime.
I took countless of photos that day, but here, I'll only share what I believe are the best ones and those that help narrate the story of the night!
The first photos I took were when the girl arrived at the venue. Before she even stepped out of the car, I managed to get these shots. I felt like a paparazzi, and she felt special too!
El sabado tuve el honor de documentar la fiesta de Quinceañera de una chica y pude hacer unas fotos muy bonitas que seguro estarán guardadas como un recuerdo muy especial por toda su vida.
Ese dia hice muchisimas fotos pero aqui solo les voy a compartir las que en mi opinion son las mejores y ayudan a narrar la historia de la noche!
Las primeras fotos que tomé fueron cuando la chica llegó al lugar, antes de que se bajara del carro pude hacerle estas fotos, me sentí como un paparazzi y ella tambien se sintió especial!
Minutes passed, and the moment arrived for her grand entrance. She entered hand in hand with her mother and younger brother:
Pasaron los minutos y llegó el momento de hacer su entrada triunfal, llegó de la mano de su madre y su hermano menor:
The girl sat in her special chair while her grand father and mother put on her heels. This gesture symbolizes her transition from girl to teenager:
La chica se sentó en su silla especial mientras su abuelo y su madre le pusieron las zapatillas, este gesto simboliza la transición de niña a adolescente:
After that, the Waltz began. One by one, she danced with several family members. This was a very emotional moment, everyone had so much love for her, and it was clear on their faces!
Luego de eso empezó el momento del Vals, uno por uno fue bailando con varios de sus familiares, este fue un momento muy emotivo porque todos le tenian mucho amor a la chica y se podia ver en sus rostros!
Her sister even shed tears while dancing with her:
Su hermana incluso lloró al bailar con ella:
When it was her mother's turn to dance, neither of them could hold back their tears. It was a very special moment!
Cuando fue el turnó de bailar de la madre ninguna de las dos pudo contener las lagrimas, fue un momento muy especial!
At the end of the Waltz, a toast was made in honor of the Quinceañera!
Al terminar el baile de Vals se hizo un brindis en honor de la quinceañera!
At that moment, everyone rushed to congratulate the Quinceañera and asked me to take a photo of them with the night's star:
En ese momento todos corrieron a felicitar a la quinceañera y me pidieron que les tomara una foto con la protagonista de la noche:
And to conclude, I took a couple of portraits of the girl alone. Her mother told me she would have these photos printed and framed:
Y para finalizar le hice un par de retratos a la chica sola, su madre me dijo que estas fotos las mandaria a imprimir y enmarcar:
It was a beautiful night, and the love everyone had for the girl was palpable. I was very happy to be able to take such lovely photos for them.
