Birthday studio photoshoot - Monomad challenge.
Today I am back with a new photo session that I did in my new photography studio for a birthday girl who hired my services to have a beautiful memory of her birthday.
We started by taking a couple of full body photos as a "warm-up" but still we liked the photos very much because the girl looked very pretty!
Hoy estoy de vuelta con una nueva sesion de fotos que hice en mi nuevo estudio de fotografia para una chica cumpleañera que contrató mis servicios para tener un recuerdo bonito de su cumpleaños.
Empezamos por hacer un par de fotos a cuerpo completo como "calentamiento" pero aun así las fotos nos gustaron muchisimo porque la chica se veia muy bonita!

I noticed that the girl was very comfortable in front of the camera so I asked her if she was a model and she said no but that she had a little experience since she had already done photo sessions for her birthday in previous years.
And yes, it really is a very common tradition in Venezuela to do this, perhaps it is because it is not very common for people to have professional cameras so it is a service that attracts people's attention a lot.
Noté que la chica estaba muy comoda frente a la camara asi que le pregunte si era modelo y me dijo que no pero que tenia un poco de experiencia ya que ya se habia hecho sesiones de fotos por su cumpleaños años anteriores.
Y es que si, realmente es una tradición muy común en Venezuela hacer esto, quizas sea porque no es muy comun que las personas tengan camaras profesionales asi que es un servicio que llama muchisimo al atencion de las personas.
I put another cube on the set so that the girl could sit down and have variety in the photographs.
Puse otro cubo en el set para que la chica se pudiera sentar y tener variedad en las fotografias:
And the next thing was to take the photos with the girl on the floor.
Y lo siguiente fue hacer las fotos con la chica en el suelo:
They were birthday photos so obviously we had to include the cake, at this point we started to take the photos with the cake!
Eran fotos de cumpleaños asi que obviamente teniamos que incluir el pastel, en este punto empezamos a hacer las fotos con el pastel!
For the following photos I wanted to use the circular light modifier since that light always looks very good in birthday photos and the girl ended up loving the result.
Para las siguientes fotos quise usar el modificador de luz circular ya que esa luz siempre se ve muuy bien en las fotos de cumpleaños y la chica terminó amando el resultado:
I took all the photos with my Canon R8 camera, a 50mm lens at 4/f and two light points.
At the end of the photo session both the girl and I were super happy with the results and I hope you like them as much as we do!!
Todas las fotos las tomé con mi camara Canon R8, un lente 50mm 4/f y dos puntos de luces.
Al final de la sesion de fotos tanto la chica como yo quedamos super contentos con los resultados y espero que a ustedes les gusten tanto como a nosotros!!
