3 years old birthday boy - Monomad Challenge.
Today I am back with a new set of photographs that I took in my studio, on this occasion a mother hired my services since she wanted me to take photos of her little boy who was turning 3 years old.
To make the birthday theme for these photos the mother brought a set of balloons to the studio, the first photos were made strangely easy, the child took the balloon and was attentive to all the instructions, the result was very nice.
Hoy estoy de vuelta con un nuevo set de fotografias que hice en mi estudio, en esta ocasion una madre contrató mis servicios ya que ella queria que le hiciera fotos a su pequeñin que estaba cumpliendo 3 años de edad.
Para hacer la tematica cumpleañeras de estas fotos la madre llevó un set de globos al estudio, las primeras fotos las hicimos extrañamente facil, el niño tomó el globo y estuvo atento a toda las las intrucciones, el resultado fue muy bonito:
Then, the mother threw a couple of balloons across the sides and the child got very excited, the result was a very natural and beautiful spontaneous photo.
Luego, la madre lanzó un par de globos por los lados y el niño se emocionó mucho, el resultado fue una foto espontanea muy natural y bonita:
For the following photo I put a large cube on the set since the mother wanted a photo where her son was leaning against a wall, this is what we did.
Para las siguiente foto puse un cubo grande en el set ya que la madre queria una foto en donde su hijo estuviera arrecostado a una pared, esto fue lo que hicimos:
Then we sat the boy on the cube to vary the photos a bit.
Luego sentamos al chico en el cubo para variar un poco las fotos:
Reflecting while writing this post I realize that it seems as if the photos were easy to take but it really was a bit chaotic hahaha. The first 3 photos were achieved very easily but once the child got excited by the "balloon rain" a spark was lit in him and he was running all over the place and it became difficult to keep his attention for more than 30 seconds straight.
We had to offer him "prizes" like this ball spinner that we gave him so that he would let himself be photographed while sitting.
Reflexionando mientras escribo esta publicacion me doy cuenta de que parece como si las fotos hubieran sido faciles de tomar pero realmente fue un poco caotico hahaha. Las primeras 3 fotos se lograron muy faciles pero una vez que el niño se emocionó por la "lluvia de globos" se encendió una chispa en el y estuvo corriendo por todos lados y se hizo dificil mantener su atencion por mas de 30 segundos seguidos.
Tuvimos que ofrecerle "premios" como este spinner de pelota que le regalamos para que se dejara fotografiar estando sentado.
The dad also offered him an ice cream if he let the photo session end, because at this point the boy didn't want any more photos and even took off his jacket hahaha.
El papá tambien le ofreció un helado si dejaba terminar la sesion de fotos, porque en este punto el niño ya no queria mas fotos y hasta se quitó la chaqueta hahaha
He was really upset because he didn't want any more photos, I made him laugh and I was able to take this photo.
De verdad estaba molesto porque ya no queria mas fotos, lo hice reir y pude hacer esta foto:
To calm him down we let him be free in the studio, we played with him with the balloons and distracted him until he calmed down and I was able to take a natural and beautiful photo.
Para que se calmara lo dejamos ser libre en el estudio, jugamos con el con los globos y lo distraimos hasta que se calmó y pude hacerle una foto natural y bonita:
And we finished with the family photo.

I took all the photos with my Canon R8 camera, a 50mm lens at 4/f and two light points.
At the end of the photo session we were all happy with the results and I hope you like them as much as we do!
Todas las fotos las tomé con mi camara Canon R8, un lente 50mm a 4/f y dos puntos de luces.
Al final de la sesion de fotos todos quedamos felices con los resultados y espero que a ustedes les gusten tanto como a nosotros!!
