15 Colorful City photographs
Today, I want to share a set of 15 photographs from my city, San Cristobal, Venezuela. What makes these photos special is how colorful they are, and for the most part, that's precisely what led me to capture them.
I want to start with this photograph, which I find very mundane yet full of life: a taxi driver waiting for clients outside a pharmacy:
Hoy les quiero compartir un set de 15 fotografias de la ciudad de donde vivo (San Cristobal en Venezuela) y lo que hace especial a estas fotografias es lo coloridas que son y en su gran mayoria esa fue la razon que me llevó a disparar estas fotos.
Quiero empezar por esta fotografia que me parece lo mas cotidiana pero llena de vida, un taxista esperando clientes fuera de una farmacia:
In Venezuela, it's very common for stores to display fruits and vegetables outside to attract customers, like this:
En venezuela es muy comun que las tiendas muestren las frutas y vegetales afuera de para captar clientes, de esta manera:

A man walking on the outskirts of my city's central park. The entire scene is so full of color that it's almost vibrant!
Un hombre caminando a las afuera del parque central de mi ciudad, toda la escena está tan llena de color que es casi vibrante!
A few meters down, I took this photo, which I found full of life!
Unos metros mas abajo tomé esta foto que me pareció llena de vida!
I took the next photo at sunset, the lighting was very beautiful at that moment!
La siguiente foto la tomé al atardecer, la iluminacion estaba muy bonita en ese momento!
This person had just opened his hamburger stand and sat waiting for customers:
Este apenas acababa de abrir su kiosco de hamburgesa y se sentó a esperar por clientes:
I took the next photo because the gentleman's pose seemed interesting, he looked almost like a detective from an old American movie, hahaha!
La siguiente foto la tomé porque la pose del señor me pareció interesante, parecia casi un detective de una pelicula americana jajajaja
The next photo is the entrance to a building's parking lot. What caught my attention was how it was framed by trees on both sides:
La siguiente foto es la entrada al estacionamiento de unos edificios, lo que me llamó la atencion era como estaba encuadrado por los arboles de lado y lado:
And speaking of cars, I'm always on the lookout for any old car gem to photograph. Here, it's very common to see these cars still driving on the streets, even if some are in very poor condition.
Y hablando de carros, siempre estoy atento a cuando vea alguna gema de carro viejo para hacerle una foto, aqui es muy comun ver estos carros andando en la calle aun cuando algunos estan en muy mal estado.
In another part of the city, I saw this mural that is allusive to the city's soccer team. I found the mural with the city in the background very beautiful:
En otro lugar de la ciudad vi este mural que es alusivo al equipo de futbol de la ciudad, me pareció muy bonito el mural con la ciudad al fondo:
I saw this cute little cat sleeping. It made me feel sad that its nose was hurt.
I took this photo to remind myself to bring him food.
Vi a este bonito gatito durmiendo, me dió mucho sentimiento que tuviera su nariz lastimada.
Le tomé esta foto para acordarme de llevarle comida.
I took this photo because I found the gigantic arrow pointing towards the business very curious. They sell roasted chicken there, and it's delicious!
Esta foto la tomé porque me pareció muy curiosa la flecha gigantesca apuntando hacia el local, alli venden pollo rostizado y son muy ricos!
All photos were taken with my Canon R8 camera and a 24-105mm lens.

Great shots. Love seeing what daily life looks like around the globe. That Rooster chicken place looks like the Raising Canes chicken place we have in the US.
