13 years old birthday portraits - Monomad challenge.
This time I'm going to share a couple of portrait photos that I took in my studio for a girl who was about to turn 13 years old. Her mother wanted to do a photo session to leave a memory of this stage in her daughter's life.
The girl and her mother brought various accessories to the set to make the photo session themed for the birthday. I started by taking a couple of photos with the balloons:
En esta ocasion les voy a compartir un par de fotografias de retratos que hice en mi estudio para una chica que estaba pronto a cumplir 13 años de edad, su madre quiso hacerle una sesion de fotos para dejar un recuerdo de esta etapa en la vida de su hija.
La chica y su madre llevaron varios accesorios al set para hacer la sesion de fotos tematica al cumpleaños, empecé por hacerle un par de fotos con los globos:
The girl wasn't a model and had no previous experience in photo sessions, so I was guiding her with the poses to make her feel more comfortable.
La chica no era modelo ni tenia experiencia previa en sesiones de fotos asi que yo estuve guiandola con las poses para que ella se sientiera mas comoda.
For all these photos, I used my CANON R8 camera with a 50mm lens and a single light source, my speed lite flash with a 50cm octabox at 45 degrees from the model.
For the following photos, we used the cake. I had to take these photos super fast because the cake was heavy and we were afraid it might fall.
Para todas estas fotos utilicé mi camara CANON R8 con un lente 50mm y un solo punto de luz, mi flash speed lite con un octabox de 50cm a 45 grados de la modelo.
Para las siguientes fotos utilizamos la torta, tuve que tomar estas fotos super rapido porque la torta era pesada y teniamos miedo de que se pudiera caer.
Then we took the next photo, without balloons and without cake, it turned out very nice:
Luego hicimos la siguiente foto, sin globos y sin torta, quedó muy bonita:
Then the girl went to change outfits for the second part of the photo session. We also did different poses so that the photos weren't the same as the first part...
Luego la chica se fue a cambiar de outfit para la segunda parte de la sesion de fotos, tambien hicimos poses diferentes para que las fotos no fueran iguales a las primeras...
Then the girl wanted some photos crouching down:
Luego la chica quiso una fotos agachada:
I thought it would look very good if we repeated the same photo but this time with the cake on the set:
Pensé que se vería muy bien si repetíamos la misma foto pero esta vez con la torta en el set:
And to finish the photo session, we took a couple more casual photos without birthday accessories. These two were our two favorites:
Y para finalizar la sesion de fotos hicimos un par de fotos mas casuales sin accesorios de cumpleaños, esta dos fueron nuestras favoritas:
In the end, both the girl and the mother were very happy with the results of this photo session. I hope you like them as much as we do!
