Trip to the Educational Congress Mérida Venezuela July 2009. [ENG/SPA]

Hello beauties, today I am going to tell you how was my trip to Merida Venezuela in 2009, the Association of students of Informatics of the University of Orientes Núcleo Sucre of Venezuela, thanks to them together with other universities and institutions of the government a congress was programmed in the city of Merida which lasted from 6 to 10 July 2009.

Saludos bellezas, hoy les voy a contar como fue mi viaje a Mérida Venezuela en el año 2009, la Asociación de estudiantes de Informática de la Universidad de Orientes Núcleo Sucre de Venezuela, gracias a ellos junto con otras universidades e instituciones del gobierno se programó un congreso en la ciudad de Mérida el cual duro del 6 al 10 de julio del año 2009.

DEPARTURE OF THE TRIP

On the 4th of July, 2 days before the congress started, we left Cumaná at 6:00 pm, the trip was by land, the group that consisted of more than 50 people was distributed in 2 routes (bus) of the University. During the trip we suffered an accident when we were just going through Higuerote, a town located in the state of Miranda, so the trip was delayed for about 5 hours while we waited for the university to send another route (bus) to continue the trip. The one way trip was 29 hours, usually it is 22 to 23 hours. There are not many photos because of technical problems at that time I had a Nokia 6300 mobile phone which had problems with the camera and the photos did not come out very well.

SALIDA DEL VIAJE
El día 4 de julio, 2 días antes que comenzara el congreso salimos de Cumaná a las 6:00 pm, el viaje fue por tierra, el grupo que constaba de más de 50 personas fue distribuido en 2 rutas (autobús) de la Universidad. Durante el viaje sufrimos un accidente cuando apenas íbamos por Higuerote un poblado ubicado en el estado Miranda por lo cual el viaje se retrasó por unas 5 horas mientras esperábamos que la universidad enviara otra ruta (autobús) para continuar el viaje, El viaje de ida fue de 29 horas por lo general son 22 a 23 horas. No hay muchas fotos por problemas técnicos en aquel entonces tenía un celular Nokia 6300 el cual tenía problemas con la cámara y las fotos no salían muy bien.

ARRIVAL

Once we arrived in Merida we had a free time of 1 day before the congress started and we took the opportunity to tour the city to visit several places, among them a museum of contemporary arts in which we could only appreciate the works of art in my opinion a little strange, I could only take 1 picture on the sly because it was not allowed to take pictures, the ice cream shop of the thousand flavors in which we tasted a variety of flavors some very exotic others very well known, In my personal choice I ate 6 ice creams, one with Solera beer flavour, another with Cacique flavour, a Venezuelan rum, another with anise flavour, a very well known alcoholic drink in Venezuela, another with Pabellon Criollo flavour which for me was not so delicious and the last ice cream I tried there was hamburger flavour which to my surprise I liked, with the first 3 ice creams that had alcohol I left there a bit happy, we also visited the botanical park with a very nice air trail where we had fun like children. But don't take my word for it, just look at the photos.

LLEGADA
Una vez que llegamos a Mérida teníamos un tiempo libre de 1 día antes de que el congreso diera inicio y nosotros aprovechamos de recorrer la ciudad para conocer y visitamos varios sitios, entre ellos un museo de artes contemporáneas en el cual solo pudimos apreciar las obras de artes a mi parecer un poco extrañas solo pude tomar 1 foto a escondidas porque no estaba permitido tomar fotos, la heladería de los mil sabores en la cual probamos una diversidad de sabores algunos muy exóticos otros muy conocidos, en mi elección personal me comi 6 helados uno con sabor a cerveza Solera, otro con sabor a Cacique un ron venezolano, otro helado con sabor a anís bebida alcohólica muy conocida en Venezuela, otro helado con sabor a Pabellón Criollo que para mi no estaba tan delicioso y el último helado que probé allí fue de sabor hamburguesa que para mi sorpresa si me gusto, con los 3 primeros helados que tenían alcohol sali de alli un poco alegre, las fotos de los helados no las pude tomar por la ansiedad de probar los helados, también visitamos el parque botánico con un sendero aéreo muy agradable allí nos divertimos como niños. Pero no me creas por leer me véanlo en las fotos.

The congress had a diversity of very interesting topics Art and Cultural Expressions, Education, Software and Hardware Development, Social Networking and Activists and free software migration.

RETURN


The departure was scheduled for the day after the end of the congress on the 11th of July 2009. On the return trip we were lucky because of the cold season (July-September) and the fact that the day before it had rained, which allowed us to get to know the snow. We were playing with the snow, we even made snowmen and put them on the windscreens of the cars.

We managed to arrive safely in Cumana on the 12th of July just in time to take our mid-term exams at the university.

RETORNO
La salida fue pautada para el día siguiente de finalizar el congreso el día 11 de julio del 2009. En la viaje de retorno tuvimos la dicha por la temporada de frío (mes julio-septiembre) y que el día anterior había llovido lo cual nos permitió conocer la nieve, estuvimos jugando con la nieve hasta muñecos de nieve hicimos y los colocamos en los parabrisas de los autos.

Logramos llegar sin contratiempo a cumana, el día 12 de julio justo a tiempo para presentar los exámenes parciales de la universidad.
