From your photos, I can see that Rome gave you one of its best days; the sky in each of the photographs is adorable.

What you say is very true: to really appreciate this building, it's best to do so from a distance, because when we're close up, we feel overwhelmed by its majesty. The statues are impressive, especially when we realize that they were carved by someone using just a hammer and chisel—what talent!

I hope to see much more from this trip because it brings back such fond memories, my dear friend.

Es muy cierto lo que dices, para apreciar bien esta construcción, es mejor hacerlo desde lejos, porque cuando estamos cerca, nos sentimos demasiado envueltos ante tanta majestuosidad. Las estatuas son impresionantes y más cuando caemos en cuenta que fueron talladas por alguien simplemente con un martillo y cincel, qué talento.

Espero seguir viendo mucho más de este viaje porque me trae muy lindos recuerdos querido amigo.
