Hello friends, this is my first entry into this community, so I am proud and excited to be able to meet some of those who make life here. As is the custom, this Holy Week I had the privilege of visiting places in my state that I had never been to, such as the case of Petarito, located in the Sucre state of Venezuela.

Hola amigos, es mi primera entrada en esta comunidad, por lo que me enorgullece y emociona poder conocer parte de los que hacen vida aquí. Cómo es la costumbre, en esta semana santa tuve el privilegio de conocer lugares de mi estado a los cuales nunca había ido, cómo es el caso de Petarito, ubicado en el estado Sucre de Venezuela.

We arrived at the place around 9am, very late for everything we wanted to enjoy, we arrived at a place before Santa Fe, which the guide informed that in its time it was a tourist inn, but after several owners and the death of These were left in charge of the government and due to lack of maintenance it was very neglected.

Al lugar llegamos como a eso de las 9am, muy tarde para todo lo que queríamos disfrutar, poco antes de santa fe, que el guía informó que en su tiempo era un parador turístico, pero luego de varios dueños y la muerte de estos, quedó a cargo del gobierno y por falta de mantenimiento estaba muy descuidado.

From there we took a boat to the guide's house, this place is called Petarito, which is a hamlet or town with very few inhabitants and which can only be accessed by boat. He told us that to go to school or work they had to have a boat as a means of transportation and leave very early. The man's house itself is tall, and to access it you have to climb a series of steps that are somewhat scary.

De allí tomamos un bote hasta la casa del guía, esté lugar es llamado Petarito, el cual es un caserío o localidad de muy pocos habitantes y al cual sólo se logra acceder en bote, el nos mencionó que para ir a la escuela o a trabajar debían tener como medio de transporte un bote y salir muy temprano. La casa del señor en si, es alta, y para acceder hay que subir una serie de escalones que dan algo de miedo.

From the guide's house we took the boat again and went to a place also within Petarito, where the beach impressed me because of how crystal clear it was, you could see the bottom and there I took several photos. In this place I felt relaxed, the peace that is felt there is magnificent. I recommend it.

De la casa del guía tomamos de nuevo el bote y nos adentramos a un lugar también dentro de Petarito, dónde la playa me impresionó por lo cristalina que estaba, se podía ver el fondo y allí me tomé varias fotos. En este lugar me sentí relajada, la paz que se siente allí es magnífica. Lo recomiendo.

Perhaps the fact that I felt at peace is that I got my favorite tree, the Trinitarian tree, and I managed to take a couple of very nice photos. From there we took the boat again and went to several hamlets within Petarito, we got to see the sunset riding the boat and some dolphins that came out to greet us.

Quizás el hecho de sentirme en paz es que conseguí mi árbol favorito, el de trinitarias, y alcancé tomarme un par de fotos muy lindas. De allí tomamos de nuevo el bote y fuimos a varios caseríos dentro de Petarito, nos tocó ver el atardecer montados en el bote y algunos delfines que salieron a saludarnos.
