Jerónimo Candina, my great-great-grandfather, was a master blacksmith. He and his brothers brought with them the secret of the manual arts, from metals, from riveting and forging to the finest goldsmithing and woodworking. Today I went out with my cell phone to capture those small, silent treasures he left behind for the town.
