This fungus standing on a slightly rotten wood is like a perfect work of art painted by nature itself. While walking in the morning, I suddenly came across this wonderful scene — this fungus born alone on an old trunk seems to be telling its own story in a silent language.

The picture was taken very close, so that its fineness and structure are clearly visible. The blackish gills and bright white stalk make it more attractive. The roughness of the wood and the softness of the fungus together create a wonderful contrast.

This type of fungus usually grows in wet environments, on rotten tree trunks. It not only expresses the rebirth of nature, but also the transient beauty of life.
