She had bought cheap black polythene from the market and made several small covers out of it. Then she added soil, sand and leaf litter to them and left them for about a week and then added seeds to them. Now they are rising above the soil layer and spreading. Spinach can be propagated by seeds as well as by cuttings. Although spinach grows slowly at first, it grows very quickly once it reaches a certain level. Once the spinach plants are established, it is not advisable to keep them in polythene covers and it is better to plant them in the ground.

Winged beans are a type of vegetable that grows as a vine in the legume family. They are completely green when they grow. They should be protected from lizards and parrots during the flowering period. It is possible to harvest many winged beans from one vine. These winged beans can be grown even with just water. These vines are beneficial to grow without proper care.

Long beans are another type of vegetable belonging to the legume family. These also grow as vines and are called long beans because of the length of the pods. My mother-in-law planted long beans a few weeks ago. They have grown and are now yielding pods as a harvest. These are used for home consumption. There are several types of long beans. The long beans, which are characterized by a single green color, are considered the tastiest type.

I saw how green chili plants were planted in polythene covers and empty fertilizer bags. Only three or four chili plants of different varieties were planted in this one hole. But it is not advisable to eat it often.

Pennywart and kankun are still growing in the garden without any care. A new type of Pennywart plant was also seen for the first time. It is not very nutritious. Several turmeric plants are also growing well. She gets some income from them.
