The #BeerSaturday Challenge - Week 414: Lion Stout Beer
Greetings my fellow Beer lovers all around the world,
What's up friends? I hope you are spending really nice week very well with your beloved once. I want to give biggest salute you for sharing a week 414 #BeerSaturday challenge, who was organized by our fellow Hiver @detlev. Needless to say, we all lead very busy lives. I am busy with work six days a week, but I can find some entertainment by drinking beer with friends. I am not addicted to beer, and I usually drink it only on weekends. Yesterday, a mild Saturday, was an opportunity to discover a different kind of beer. Although the usual light yellow beers are available all over our country, there are only a handful of dark brown beers. These brown beers have a taste that goes beyond the usual beer taste and sometimes use fruits like grapes for that.
We decided to avoid the usual bar scene and drink beer in a place open to nature like last week because of the noise in the bar. A quiet environment is more important for enjoying a drink like beer freely. This time our choice was the stout beer produced by Lion Company. Lion Company, which is at the forefront of the beer production industry in Sri Lanka, may be the reason why it displays the lion logo.
"Revel in the rich flavors and heady aromas of the Lion stout, our most decorated beer and Asia's most famous stout" is displayed on the label because of its unique taste. I have only had Lion Stout beer on two occasions before, and I don't drink it often because of its strong bitterness. This stout beer sometimes has a coffee-like taste. The dark brown color also shows a similar color to coffee. With an alcohol content of 8.8%, which is higher than the 4.4% alcohol percentage of a lager IPA, stout beer is a type of beer that can be enjoyed for a long time and freely.
Lion Stout beer, which has an alcohol content of 8.8%, is brewed with water. Lion Stout, which contains carbohydrate flavors, also contains malted barley and roasted malt. For this, those flavors are added in a standard percentage. A 625 ml bottle of Lion Stout can be purchased at local wine stores for 730 rupees (2.5 US$). The dark brown color of the stout beer also resembles the foam of a malt beverage, which can be assumed to be a high malt content.
Although many people are tempted by other beers due to the bitter taste of Lion Stout beer, in my opinion, Lion Stout beer can be mentioned as the best beer without hesitation. The 625 ml beer was drunk more freely with a friend for about 2 hours and a fun evening was enjoyed. I would be right if I said that the more malty flavor with a foamy texture adds an attraction to Lion Stout beer. See you soon with another Sri Lankan beer review content like this.
This is #BeerSaturday 414 week and I would like to invite @mattsanthonyit to write a post in any language about beer with at least 3 pictures.
8,8% sound strong but delicious, i would like drink one of those beers :D
Yes. 8.8% of beer seriously better for me. I think you can feel it someday.
