How are you guys? I hope you are all having a very peaceful and enjoyable time. As the New Year is just a few days away, we are in for a celebratory party season. As there are many foreign tourists in the Unawatuna beach tourist area, the lodges and resorts there have lots of parties at night. So these days, at night, Unawatuna hangs out on the beach to get a good walk for the body. Walking and running on a sandy beach burns unnecessary calories which gives the body more energy.

I spent the morning at work yesterday and took leave in the evening to buy things for the house. First of all, I went to the vegetable market to buy vegetables especially for food and bought only a few essential vegetables because the price of vegetables has increased so much these days. A kilo of green chillies grown in Sri Lankan plantations is sold at a price of almost 5 US dollars. Therefore, many people are tempted to grow crops in their own garden for home consumption. After that I went to the fish market to buy fish for the week. Fish is cheaper than vegetables. So I bought some more types of fish. I noticed that the fish was much fresher.

I bought some other essentials and reached home. I stayed at home till around 8 pm and did some educational work with my daughter. After that I had vegetables with rice for dinner. After that I reached Unawatuna Beach with four friends after a 1.5 km walk. Fireworks can be seen in abundance in the Unawatuna sky from Christmas night until now. These create patterns of various shapes and light up the sky above. Many people can be seen in Unawatuna beach these days.

Children are more interested in seeing fireworks, so many children enjoyed themselves by staying on the beach. Fireworks patterns add great beauty to the night time when the whole environment is dark. It is our responsibility to take the opportunity to see all that we need to see with our own eyes. Otherwise we will be shocked later. According to my opinion, everyone has opportunities but only a limited number of people get opportunities. Boredom can be mentioned as the main reason. If we can get rid of boredom, we can collect happiness from around us.

At night, the entire Unawatuna beach was lit up with colorful light decorations in hotels and resorts. Because there was more space on the Weli beach, even a large number of tourists could travel freely. It should be mentioned that almost all the foreign tourists who came to Sri Lanka this time had more fun at Unawatuna Beach.

Me and four friends stopped at a lodge after a lovely walk. We danced there with patterned lights and DJ music. After some time, the five of us were lucky enough to dance together. It must be mentioned that behind each occasion more valuable memories are added. So this is how the day came to an end with some more beautiful memories.
