Before going to Savoy, I read it is unlike any other region on France - it's breathtakingly beautiful. I do not say that other regions are not beautiful. My ties with Provence are strong too. They both are enchanting corners, just one is located in the French Alps, another - on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

Today, I share with you the memories of my trip to Savoy again. Yvoire village - a beautiful jewel setled in the heart of France. It allures us with its majestic landscapes, its old and rich history, and, of course, its culinary delights. Walking the paths of Savoy, I felt like it is a part of who I am.

Savoy fits every soul of traveller. No matter if you are a gourmand who is eager to try the very authentic flavours of Alpine cuisine, or you are a history enthisiast, or you are traveller who seeks adventures full of adrenaline, the cities and villages of Savoy offer you a whole myriad of new experiences.

The village of Yvoire is picturesquely located on the very shore of Lake Geneva and is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful villages in France.

The entire village is a pedestrian zone, we left the bus in one of the parking lots in front of the entrance to the village.
