Wild Mushroom

While cleaning out my grandma’s yard the other day, I spotted a few wild mushrooms that grew on a bark and the soil. I was pretty fascinated with it since I rarely see wild mushrooms. The common mushrooms I know that are edible are ear and champignon mushrooms. Other than those two, If I saw mushrooms in the wild, I have to consult with google lenses.

I am sure if you’re fungi lovers you must have already watched fantastic fungi on netflix. It’s such a fascinating documentary featuring fungi lovers and also cinematically stunning that it makes you wonder, how come this tiny organism is interconnected and creates its own kingdom.

Apparently,the mushroom that grows in my grandma’s yard is albatrellus avellaneus. They grow in a bundle and close together. The one that grows on the bed bark is leucocoprinus cretaceus it is said to grow in tropical countries but is also commonly found in Europe. There were a few of them but the last one that really caught my attention is this brown-ish mushroom. It might be a lantern mushroom, but if so, I read it's a poisonous mushroom. Now that I know this brown-orange hues mushroom is dangerous, I can tell the neighbors not to pluck them and best to get rid of them. While it’s not going to be a severe reaction, best to prevent it.

𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘨, 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘭𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘦. 𝘚𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴, 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸𝘴, 𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘩 𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴, 𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘩𝘺, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵.
