Yellow cherish

Yesterday I was again sitting with my photos and trying to arrange them in a reasonable and simple order. I must admit that this habit of organizing and improving my digital photo-catalog in small steps makes my life a lot easier in terms of saving time. So during this recent exploration I saw these yellow frames and wanted to share with you guys. Bee is a fantastic creature…

I like how the light is falling and poping out a strong yellow color. The yellow petals are strong, but the lower parts are dark, almost disappearing. I think this also boosts the subject. There is a tension between light and shadow.

I used 70-300mm telephoto lens and a circular polarizer filter. And CPL filter really helped me to avoid bright highlights casted over the transparent wings. Also colors became more saturated.
