Let the birds tell the story

This is about where the birds in the city rest...
It is peaceful watching the birds from a rooftop, especially when the city is just behind them doing its usual busy day.
These photos were taken from a rooftop by the water, on a grey and windy day. Everything looks quiet, but if you stay there for a while, you start to notice a different kind of flow — the one the birds follow. In these black and white shots, the birds are like tiny occupants of their own corner in the city, sharing the space with us but moving with their own purpose.
Some are standing still, maybe thinking, maybe waiting. Some are flying just above the water or landing with that soft, confident glide. They seem to hang out with the scene and enjoy it... It feels like they know the place better than us. The rooftops, the ledges, the sky — all of it belongs to them too.

I also liked how the city stood in the background. You can see the Bosphorus Bridge, a few boats, and buildings far away. But instead of being the main thing, the city becomes the stage. The birds take the spotlight and practice their play everyday.
Black and white is good in bad or cloudy weather, and it helps me focus on shapes, movement, and contrast.

Next time if you like, have a look around to spot these neighbours. The city might be loud, but the birds are always telling their own quiet story.
All the best...
