A walk with ducks and birds and enjoying beatiful nature

Sometime ago I had a chance to visit Szczecin city in Poland and it’s great nature. Here I want to share with you a serene corner of the city. I went for a walk near a small lake inside a quiet park, Kasprowicz Park. It was around noon time. The weather was still warm, but not hot. Everything around was calm. I didn’t go for any purpose. Just a simple walk to feel more quiet inside.

As I walked near the edge of the water, I saw some ducks resting and feeding over a stone platform. In the first photo I took, they were just relaxing and pecking here and there. There was also a small arched bridge behind them. It looked like from a fairytale.

Then I continued walking. The green color was everywhere. Trees, grass, water reflection—all was green. It gave me some kind of inner peace. No loud people, no noise. Only nature sounds. (And some mosquitos :)) A group of birds was also sitting near the water in the second photo, watching around calmly. I tried to frame especially one of them being close to the bank where people can be seen in the distance. It looked like as if it didn’t want to be disturbed by walkers…

In the last photo, one duck was swimming alone in the lake. The water was dark green because of the trees around. I liked this moment a lot. The duck was small in the frame, but still the photo feels full.

This short walk helped me to clean my mind a little bit. Sometimes I forget how powerful nature can be to help me feel better. I didn’t need to speak with anyone, or explain anything. Just watching birds, water, and the green made me feel more balanced.
