Today I introduce you to Athena, whose name is a tribute to the Greek goddess symbol of wisdom and protector of the city of Athens.

Saludos a todos. Deseando que se encuentren muy bien, al igual que sus adorables mascotas.

Hoy les presento a Atenea, cuyo nombre es en homenaje a la diosa griega símbolo de la sabiduría y protectora de la ciudad de Atenas.

"La gata Atenea"

Ate, as we call her by affection, came home by a beautiful chance. She was not even 15 days old when we found her in a bush with another of her siblings. We came to them guided by her cries of newborn kittens. I was in the company of my astral-daughter and I didn't have the heart to tell her that there was no room for them at home. So we arrived home and oh, surprise! we bring new members for the family.

Ate, como le decimos por cariño, llegó a casa por una hermosa casualidad. No tendría ni 15 días de nacida cuando la encontramos en un matorral junto a otro de sus hermanitos. Llegamos a ellos guiados por sus llantos de gatitos recién nacidos. Iba en compañía de mi hija-astral y no tuve corazón para decirle que en casa no había espacio para ellos. Así que llegamos a casa y ¡oh, sorpresa! traemos nuevos miembros para la familia.

Unfortunately, her little brother did not survive. On the other hand, Atenea was a warrior. She started to eat with a dropper and our cat (La Michu) acted as a substitute mother, grooming her and keeping her warm. Well, sometimes, when she was in a good mood.

Lastimosamente, su hermanito no sobrevivió. En cambio, Atenea fue una guerrera. Comenzó a comer con gotero y nuestra gata (La Michu) hizo las veces de madre sustituta en aquello de acicalarla y darle abrigo. Bueno, en ocasiones, cuando estaba de buen humor.

This is how the very enigmatic Atenea grew up, a kitten that adapted so well to the house that even our two dogs took her in and today they maintain a peaceful coexistence.

Así fue creciendo la muy enigmática Atenea, una gatita que se adaptó tan bien a la casa que hasta nuestros dos perros la acogieron y hoy mantienen una convivencia pacífica.

Eight years have already passed since her arrival in our lives. She seems distracted, enigmatic and even lost in another world, but she is the fastest at the moment of capturing her prey. In addition, from time to time she comes home with a surprise... leftovers from her nocturnal escapades.

We still love her and wish her long life.

Desde su llegada a nuestras vidas ya han pasado 8 años. Ella parece distraída, enigmática y hasta perdida en otro mundo, pero es la más veloz al momento de capturar a su presa. Sumado a que de cuando en cuando nos llega con alguna sorpresa a la casa… restos de lo que consigue en sus escapadas nocturnas.

Igual la amamos y deseamos para ella larga vida.
