A Nature Lovers getaway and Go karting in the mountains of Dahilayan
Hello, world-mapping and travel buddies! Isn't it wonderful to take a break and spend a day traveling and enjoying new places? This location is quite popular in the country, attracting many visitors from various places. There are plenty of activities to do here, but we chose to unwind, relax, and savor the moment, just the two of us wandering. We wanted to relive the memories from our visit seven years ago, which feels like a long time. There have been many changes since then. The entrance fee is now higher, and the original owner of this adventure park has split the area, meaning you need to pay two entrance fees if you wish to explore both parks—the one with the ziplines and rides requires an additional fee. We decided to stay at the Forest Park because we can roam around, and the transfer between attractions is free.
We enjoyed the scenery and the cool ambiance of the area, even though we didn’t plan to zipline. My partner is afraid of heights, while I love to ride. However, with our tight budget, we decided to focus on roaming around and enjoying our time together.
As we entered the forest park, we were greeted by Native American warriors standing by an archway made of painted wooden poles. There’s a large sign showcasing the name of the resort, and a welcome board directing visitors to various attractions.
Next to the entrance is the cashier, where you can book or purchase tickets for the rides. Adjacent to the cashier is a souvenir shop, where you can buy T-shirts, hats, animal figurines, and mugs.
Upon entering, you immediately see a vast space covered with green grass and some animal statues. It resembles a mini playground, which is free to access. The flowers are in full bloom, likely due to the favorable climate here.

These are real pine trees, but the green grass is not.
There are several animal statues that seem to watch your every move. But I think they are cute.
This is the way to the LUGE bridge.
This is a beautiful purple plant, and I don't know what it is. I hope it is not poisonous.
This is a beautiful location that provides a perfect backdrop for family photos, allowing us to enjoy the experience in relative solitude, as there were very few people in the park. We seize the opportunity to pose for a picture.
On the bridge, you can find the flying lizard zipline, which has now been relocated to the adventure park. When we visited, several people were enjoying various rides. The rainbow slide is particularly kid-friendly and provides an exhilarating rush for those sliding down its colorful path—kids absolutely love it. From this bridge, you can see the entire park and watch the joyful shouts of kids sliding down.
Previously, this area featured a Zorb ball attraction—a giant inflatable that you would climb into, strap in, and roll down a hill for a dizzying experience. But it was no longer there and had been replaced with a rainbow slide, which was much more fun, exciting, and safe.
After walking a bit further, we reached the entrance to the slide. They now use special colorful inflatable donuts, and riding one costs around 2.8 HBD. This is considered a must-try attraction in Dahilayan. Although the weather was not ideal that day (cloudy with no chance of rain), we were determined to make the most of our visit.
Of course, we couldn’t leave the park without trying the Go-Kart! It was just the two of us cycling through the maze, and we had so much fun. Initially, it was challenging to pedal because my feet are short and the pedals seemed a bit long. I also discovered that the course had a slight uphill section, making it tough to move up, but I managed to pedal slowly. Each of us received two rounds around the course—though it was short, it was a blast!
I chose the yellow kart because it resonated with me, while my partner picked red. It was time to race! I lost the first round, haha! Wait till you see our video! Fortunately, we still had another round, and since there was plenty of space and we were the only ones there, I asked the staff if we could go for an additional round; he happily agreed. After our third round, we decided to park our karts and head home, as we still had a long drive ahead of us.
