Phone Photography contest #75: The beautiful trucks of the Marine Firefighters of my city, Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela

Hello @feelgood community, I want to share some photos I took of one of the beautiful marine fire trucks in my city, Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela, at the INEA (National Institute of Aquatic Spaces) facilities. ![]()

I'll tell you how I got there: INEA lent its space for a cat and dog sterilization program, and I attended the sterilization of one of my cats. Once the animals go into surgery, they send us home. I live very far away, so I have to wait.

While I was waiting, I took the opportunity to go for a walk and take photos; the area is beautiful. I went in through the back door, and an employee asked me where I was going. I replied that I wanted to walk around and explore the area. He offered to give me a tour and explain what each item is for, along with many interesting facts that can be summarized nicely like this:

The "INEA Marine Firefighters" refer to the team of Marine Firefighters assigned to the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA) of Venezuela. Their main function is the prevention and response to maritime emergencies, rescue, extinguishing fires on vessels and marine structures, and supervising aquatic safety along Venezuelan coasts. Main Functions: Fire prevention and control: >×Extinguishing fires on vessels and other maritime facilities.

Salvage and Rescue: They act in maritime emergencies and disasters, saving lives and property. Supervision and Control: They monitor activities at sea, such as embarkation and disembarkation, and compliance with safety regulations. Community Care: They provide assistance in the event of disasters, such as providing drinking water or medical care in areas affected by natural disasters. Education and Training: They give safety talks and train other firefighters, lifeguards, and citizens on boat use and water safety. Importance of the INEA and Marine Firefighters: Maritime Safety: The INEA, as the highest authority on aquatic spaces in Venezuela, is responsible for safety at sea, which includes the work of its Marine Firefighters. Protection of Life and the Environment: These units act to protect both people who live and move around in the water and the marine environment. Coordination with other authorities: Marine Firefighters work in coordination with other law enforcement and government agencies to effectively respond to emergencies. 🔗

There were other trucks, also boats, launches specifically and honestly I received a class that day because I didn't know that there was a delegation of aquatic firefighters, I thought that firefighters simply existed and that was it 🙈.
