Street art - Rouen, France
I’ll soon tell you more about this city because I’ve completely fallen in love with it and everything I discovered during my wanderings. But in the meantime, I wanted to show you some of the street art I came across while walking through its streets. A colorful mural, so detailed you could only fully appreciate it in person, left me speechless when I stumbled upon it while crossing a sidewalk.
Something else that caught my eye was that many of the gas covers have graffiti featuring the body of a woman in lingerie.
One of my favorites was an animated-style artwork of two monsters eating spaghetti — a playful nod to Lady and the Tramp — with the word “Lasir,” which I’m guessing is the artist’s signature. Pronto les contaré un poco más sobre esta ciudad porque estoy enamorada de ella y de lo que descubrí durante mis exploraciones, pero mientras tanto quería mostrarles un poco del arte callejero que encontré caminando entre sus calles. Un mural colorido del cual solo podías apreciar todos los detalles viéndolo en persona, me dejó con la boca abierta al momento de encontrármelo de frente cuando cruzaba una vereda.
También me llamó la atención que muchas de las tomas de gas tienen un graffiti del cuerpo de una mujer en lencería.
De mis preferidos fue un arte animado de dos monstruos comiendo espaguetis simulando la película la dama y el vagabundo, donde también podemos ver la frase "Lasir" que probablemente sea la firma del artista.
