Skaters in the Prado/Patinadores en el Prado. (English/Español)

I present to you a group of images taken with my cell phone, a method I use when an interesting event surprises me, but the camera was left at home. It has happened to me on several occasions lately.
This time it was on the Paseo del Prado where two weeks ago a roller skate competition was held, almost all of those who participated were children and young people. I don't know if they belonged to a particular project or it was a free race, but in the end it caught my attention and here I share some photographs.

It should be noted that although they were mostly children and young people, as I said before, almost all of them felt very safe, they skated quickly and accurately.

When doing it on a public road, it was seen how those passing by stopped to observe and take the occasional photo like me.

When they faced me it was possible to see their faces, some very serious, others focused on what they were doing.
I clarify that females and males participated.

I was moved by that girl whose main concern was maintaining her balance.

The image is very nice when you see them with their backs turned, especially when they had to make turns in the corners.

And it is always gratifying to see the cooperation and help between them, especially the girls.
I think it was a nice show.

I also saw that in the center of the promenade little girls with their toy skates were joining in the activity, although of course, not with the competitors, but they were still livening up the scene.

Aquí nuevamente para saludarlos con gran placer y compartirles una nueva publicación.
Les presento un grupo de imágenes hechas con el celular, método que uso cuando me sorprende un evento interesante, pero la cámara se quedó en la casa. Últimamente me ha pasado en varias ocasiones.
Esta vez fue en el paseo del Prado donde hace dos semanas se efectuó una competencia de corredores de patines, casi todos los que participaron eran niños y jóvenes. Desconozco si pertenencían a algún proyecto en particular o era una carrera libre, pero en fin me llamó mucho la atención y aquí les comparto algunas fotografías.

Cabe destacar que a pesar de que en su mayoría eran niños y jóvenes, como dije anteriormente, casi todos se sentían muy seguros, patinaban con rapidez y precisión.

Al hacerlo en una via pública se vio como los que pasaban se detenían a observar y a hacer alguna que otra foto como yo.

Cuando me quedaban de frente era posible ver sus rostros, algunos muy serios, otros concentrados en lo que hacían.
Aclaro que participaban hembras y varones.

Me emocionó esa niña que su principal preocupación era mantener su equilibrio.

Muy bonita la imagen cuando se les ve se espaldas, sobre todo cuando tenían que hacer giros en las esquinas.

Y siempre es gratificante ver la cooperación y ayuda entre ellos, sobre todo las niñas.
Considero que fue un lindo espectáculo.

También vi que sobre el centro del paseo niñas pequeñas con sus patines de juguetes se sumaban a la actividad, aunque claro está, no con los competidores, pero igualmente animaban la escena.
