Hello Hivers! I hope everyone is well and enjoying this pleasant day.
After several days away from this community, I return today to show you a new publication and I hope you like it.

In our country there are many people who feel special devotion for Saint Lazarus, a very miraculous saint and to whom many, when faced with problems of various kinds, turn to him with great faith.

And that is why every year, on the day of his Festival, it is common to see many people going to the Sanctuary in El Rincón, in the west of Havana, to give thanks to the Saint and pay what was promised.

Others come to say hello and offer flowers, cigars and light candles. Anyway, there are many who participate in the celebration on its day, December 17.

These images that I present to you were taken at the end of last year, where I also saw how it is common for the faithful to help each other as they all feel the same devotion towards Saint Lazarus

People approached the sanctuary in different ways depending on their intentions. Some crawling, others barefoot, there were those who carried images of the saint, many with clothing made with sackcloth and the purple colors, representative of Saint Lazarus.

Los devotos de San Lázaro

¡Hola Hivers! Espero que todos estén bien y disfrutando de este agradable día.
Después de varios jornadas ausentes de esta comunidad, regreso hoy para mostrarles una nueva publicación y esperando que sea de su agrado.

En nuestro país son muchas personas que sienten especial devoción por San Lázaro, un santo muy milagroso y al que muchos, ante problemas de diversas indoles, acuden a él con mucha fe

Y es por eso que todos los años, el día de su Festividad es común ver a mucha gente acudiendo al Santuario en El Rincón, en el oeste de La Habana, a dar gracias al Santo y pagar lo prometido.

Otros se acercan a saludar y ofrecen flores, tabacos y le encuenden velas. En fin, son muchos los que participan de la celebración en su día, 17 de diciembre.

Estas imágenes que les presento fueron tomadas a finales del año pasado, donde también vi como es común que los fieles se ayuden unos a otros al sentir todos la misma devoción hacia San Lázaro.

Las personas se acercaban al santuario de diferentes formas según sus intenciones. Algunas a rastras, otras descalzas, las había quienes llevaba imágenes del santo, muchas con vestimentas hechas con telas de sacos y los colores morados, representativo de San Lázaro.
