A visit to Viñales/Una visita a Viñales. (English/Español)

Hello to all the Hivers of this beautiful Community of Photography Lovers.
After my cordial greetings, I share with you a publication about a visit to Viñales, a place located in the province of Pinar del Río, the westernmost province of Cuba.
During a photographic safari a few years ago, a group of photographers had the opportunity to visit various places in Viñales, although they were not those areas that were frequently visited by tourists, which are the places that are generally associated when we talk about Viñales.

We visited the peasant huts, where the guano roofs stood out, even in buildings made of masonry.

We closely appreciate the work of the locals.
We saw the crops, some instruments and machinery used such as tractors, plows and the teams of oxen used to move them, as well as the carts pulled by animals, which are essential in the work of that fertile red land, typical of this region and also used to move around the region.

The mogotes, a mountainous formation that identifies Viñales, wonderfully recreate the landscape of this place.

And the peasant sales stands could not be missing, located closer to the roads and highways, where a variety of fruits are sold, grown by the peasants and which they offer at good prices to all those who visit the area.

Una visita a Viñales

Hola a todos los Hivers de esta linda Comunidad de Amantes de la Fotografía.
Tras mis saludos cordiales, les comparto una publicación sobre una visita a Viñales, lugar ubicado en la provincia de Pinar del Río, la más occidental de Cuba.
Durante un safari fotográfico hace ya algunos años, tuvimos la oportunidad un grupo de fotógrafos de recorrer varios lugares de Viñales, aunque no fueron esas zonas muy visitadas en los turistas, que son los lugares que generalmente se asocian cuando hablamos de Viñales.
Nosotros visitamos los bohíos de los campesinos, donde se destacaba los techos de guano, incluso en construcciones hechas de mampostería.

Apreciamos de cerca el trabajo de los lugareños.
Vimos los sembrados, algunos instrumentos y maquinarias utilizados como los tractores, los arados y la juntas de bueyes que usan para moverlos, además las carretas tiradas por animales, las cuales son imprescindibles en el trabajo de esa fértil tierra colorada, típica de esta región y usadas también para trasladarse por la región.

Los mogotes, formación montañosas, identificativa de Viñales, recrean maravillosamente el paisaje de este lugar.

Y no podian faltar los puestos de ventas los campesinos, situados más cerca de los caminos y carreteras, donde se vende una variedad de frutos, cultivados por los campesinos y que ofrecen a buenos precios a todos los que visitan la zona.

Realmente fue una linda experiencia y por eso les muestro en estas imágenes,
