THE GIRL WITH THE SOAP BUBBLES (D/ENG/ESP) - A new entry for photographylovers
(D) Als ich vor gut drei Wochen mit meiner Freundin in unseren gemeinsamen Ferien eine Woche lang durch die Strassen von Paris (Frankreich) flanierten, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten zogen und dann und wann in Bistros gute Kaffees und "Croque Monsieurs" genossen, und dabei das tägliche Treiben auf den Strassen der Stadt der Liebe beobachteten, habe ich bemerkt, dass ich nicht wirklich in der Laune war die Stadt nur durch die Linse zu betrachten und habe somit nur wenige Fotos mit nach Hause gebracht (ganz in Gegenteil dazu habe ich bei zwei kurzen Aufenthalten im angrenzenden, neuen Stadtteil "LA DEFENSE" fast 1000 Bilder geknipst). Doch beim Spazieren durch den Park "Jardins des Touileries" entdeckte ich eine junge Frau, die mit einer einfachen Kunstruktion und Seifenwasser, zur Erquickung von Passanten und Touristen, grosse Seifenblasen in die Luft steigen liess, habe ich von der Artistin, welche ich nun "das Mädchen mit den Seifenblasen" benannte, mehr Bilder geknipst, als in der ganzen Woche von der eigentlichen Stadt.
Beim späteren Ausmisten und Bearbeiten der gemachten Bilder ist mir etwas aufgefallen. Und zwar das Lächeln der Seifenblasen ziehenden Strassenkünstlerin. Mir erscheint es wie ein ewig brennendes Licht, in einer immer dunkler werdenden Welt.
(ENG) When I spent a week strolling through the streets of Paris (France) with my girlfriend during our holidays together a good three weeks ago, wandering around the sights and occasionally enjoying good coffees and "croque monsieurs" in bistros, observing the daily hustle and bustle on the streets of the city of love, I realised that I wasn't really in the mood to just look at the city through the lens and therefore only brought home a few photos (on the contrary, I took almost 1000 photos during two short stays in the neighbouring, new district "LA DEFENSE"). But while strolling through the "Jardins des Touileries" park, I discovered a young woman who, using a simple art construction and soapy water to refresh passers-by and tourists, was blowing large soap bubbles into the air. I took more pictures of the artist, whom I now called "the girl with the soap bubbles", than I had taken of the city itself in the whole week.
When I was sorting out and editing the pictures later, I noticed something. It was the smile of the street artist blowing bubbles. To me, it seems like an eternally burning light in a world that is getting darker and darker.
(ESP) Cuando pasé una semana paseando por las calles de París (Francia) con mi novia durante nuestras vacaciones juntos hace nada menos que tres semanas, recorriendo los lugares de interés y disfrutando de vez en cuando de buenos cafés y "croque monsieurs" en bistrós, observando el ajetreo diario en las calles de la ciudad del amor, Me di cuenta de que no me apetecía mucho mirar la ciudad a través del objetivo y, por lo tanto, sólo me traje a casa unas pocas fotos (por el contrario, hice casi 1.000 fotos durante dos breves estancias en el vecino y nuevo barrio de "LA DEFENSE"). Sin embargo, paseando por los Jardines de las Tullerías, descubrí a una joven que, con una sencilla construcción artística y agua jabonosa para refrescar a los transeúntes y turistas, soplaba grandes pompas de jabón al aire. Hice más fotos de la artista, a la que ahora llamo "la chica de las pompas de jabón", que de la propia ciudad en toda la semana.
Más tarde, al ordenar y editar las fotos, me di cuenta de algo. Era la sonrisa de la artista callejera que hacía pompas. Me parece una luz eternamente encendida en un mundo cada vez más oscuro.
