EL ATLANTICO (D/ENG/ESP) - A new entry for photography lovers

Endlich angekommen. Unsere Reise über Korsika, dann quer duch Frankreich zurück in die Schweiz, und dann wieder quer durch Frankreich, hat uns nun an den wilden Atlantik geführt. Hier befinden wir uns an der fast unendlich langen Westküste Frankreichs. Der längste Sandstrand, den ich je gesehen habe, erstreckt sich von der Mündung des Flusses Garonne bis runter an die Grenze von Spanien. Und trotz seiner rauhen Wellen und Strömungen hat der Atlantik ein fast magisch beruhigende Wirkung und Anziehung auf mich. In der kurzen Zeit, in der wir uns nun an diesem mystischen Ozean befinden, haben meine Freundin und ich bereits mehrere Sonnenuntergänge genossen, den Gezeiten Ebbe und Flut zugeschaut und versucht die hereinkommenden Wellen zu zählen. Dabei sind auch schon dutzende Fotos entstanden. Davon möchte ich euch hier ein paar wenige präsentieren. Und es werden bestimmt noch mehr folgen. Die Bilder habe ich mit meiner Nikon D5600 und dem Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro aufgenommen und mit Snapseed bearbeitet.

Finally arrived. Our journey via Corsica, then across France back to Switzerland, and then across France again, has now taken us to the wild Atlantic. Here we are on the almost infinitely long west coast of France. The longest sandy beach I have ever seen stretches from the mouth of the river Garonne down to the border with Spain. And despite its rough waves and currents, the Atlantic has an almost magical calming effect and attraction on me. In the short time we have been on this mystical ocean, my girlfriend and I have already enjoyed several sunsets, watched the tides ebb and flow, and tried to count the waves coming in. Dozens of photos have been taken in the process. I would like to present a few of them here. And there will certainly be more to come. I took the pictures with my Nikon D5600 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro and edited them with Snapseed.

Finalmente llegó. Nuestro viaje a través de Córcega, luego a través de Francia de vuelta a Suiza, y luego a través de Francia de nuevo, nos ha llevado ahora al salvaje Atlántico. Aquí estamos en la casi infinita costa oeste de Francia. La playa de arena más larga que he visto nunca se extiende desde la desembocadura del río Garona hasta la frontera con España. Y a pesar de sus agitadas olas y corrientes, el Atlántico tiene un efecto calmante y una atracción casi mágica sobre mí. En el poco tiempo que llevamos en este místico océano, mi novia y yo ya hemos disfrutado de varias puestas de sol, hemos observado el flujo y reflujo de las mareas y hemos intentado contar las olas que llegan. Se han tomado docenas de fotos en el proceso. Me gustaría presentar aquí algunas de ellas. Y seguro que habrá más.
