#deutsch Nochmals lasse ich eure Blicke in die Höhe schweifen, den unzähligen Linien der modernen Architektur, der Gebäude des modernen Stadtteils La Défense am Rande von Paris, folgend.
Und nochmals liess ich die aufgenommenen Bilder praktisch in ihrer ursprünglichen rechteckigen Form, und nicht wie in meiner Serie ARCHITECTURE IN A SQUARE eingepfercht in ein Quadrat. Die Dimensionen kommen so einfach viel besser zur geltung. Und so ganz in Schwarzweiss für die #monomad challenge in der #blackandwhite Community fühle ich mich beim Betrachten der komplett entsättigten Bilder, wie auf einem Spaziergang durch ein dystopisches Gotham-City.
Gerne hätte ich mich auf dem Streifzug durch die Strassen und Fussgängerzonen zwischen den Wolkenkratzer beobachtet, wie ich mit erhonener Linse die besten Perspektiven suchte. Nur einmal wurde auf meiner Fototour durch die La Défense ich von einem Security, der mich verdächtig fand, unterbrochen und des Platzes verwiesen. Dann muss ich halt das nächste Mal das Gebäude fotografieren.

#english Once again, I let your gaze wander upwards, following the countless lines of modern architecture, the buildings of the modern district of La Défense on the outskirts of Paris.
And once again, I left the captured images in their original rectangular form, rather than squaring them off as I did in my series ARCHITECTURE IN A SQUARE. This simply allows the dimensions to come into their own much better. And so, in black and white for the #monomad challenge in the #blackandwhite community, when I look at the completely desaturated images, I feel like I'm on a walk through a dystopian Gotham City.
I would have loved to watch myself wandering through the streets and pedestrian zones between the skyscrapers, searching for the best perspectives with my lens raised. Only once during my photo tour through La Défense was I interrupted by a security guard who found me suspicious and asked me to leave the square. Next time, I'll just have to photograph the building.

#espanol Una vez más, dejo que vuestras miradas se pierdan en las innumerables líneas de la arquitectura moderna, siguiendo los edificios del moderno barrio de La Défense, a las afueras de París.
Y de nuevo dejé las imágenes tomadas prácticamente en su forma rectangular original, y no encajadas en un cuadrado como en mi serie ARCHITECTURE IN A SQUARE. De esta manera, las dimensiones se aprecian mucho mejor. Y así, en blanco y negro para el desafío #monomad de la comunidad #blackandwhite, al contemplar las imágenes completamente desaturadas, me siento como si estuviera dando un paseo por una distópica Gotham City.
Me hubiera gustado observarme a mí mismo mientras deambulaba por las calles y zonas peatonales entre los rascacielos, buscando las mejores perspectivas con mi lente en alto. Solo una vez, durante mi recorrido fotográfico por La Défense, un guardia de seguridad que me encontró sospechoso me interrumpió y me expulsó del lugar. Entonces tendré que fotografiar el edificio la próxima vez.
