A WONDERFUL START OF THE HOLIDAY ON THE SHORES OF A LAKE - A new entry for #photographylovers
#deutsch Eigentlich wären meine Ferien jetzt zu Ende. Doch da ich nun den fünften Mittelfussknochen meines rechten Fusses bei einem Spaziergang gebrochen habe, hat sich nun meine freie Zeit unfreiwillig verlängert. Damit es mir während des Wartens auf Arzttermine und während des Hochlagerns meines gebrochenen Fusses nicht langweilig wird, habe ich angefangen einige Bilder vom Anfang meiner Ferien zu bearbeiten.
Die ersten paar Tage unsere diesjährigen Sommerferien haben meine Freundin und ich gemeinsam an den Ufern des schönen Bielersees (SCHWEIZ) verbracht. Dort steht ein wenig ausserhalb der Stadt Biel ein kleines weisses Häuschen direkt am Wasser und dahinter erstreckt sich ein kleiner Wald. Ein idealer Ort um zu entspannen und neue Energie zu tanken. Zwischen entspannen auf dem Liegestuhl und erfrischender Bäder im kühlen Nass des Bielersees habe ich dann und wann, natürlich ohne mich grossartig zu bewegen, einige Fotos von der Umgebung, der Aussicht, von Wasservögel, von Fischern und des Sees gemacht. Besonders gefreut habe ich mich, als ich einmal früh morgens den Biber auf dem Rückweg von seinem Beutezug fotografieren durfte. Dies war auch der erste Biber in freier Wildbahn, den ich mit eigenen Augen sah.
Beim Bearbeiten der Bilder habe ich die nun durch den Bruch entstandene freie Zeit mit dem Experimentieren mit neuen Bearbeitungswegen, Vignettierung und einem neuen Rahmen ausgekostet.
#english Actually, my holidays should be over now. But now that I've broken the fifth metatarsal bone in my right foot during a walk, my time off has been involuntarily extended. So that I don't get bored while waiting for doctor's appointments and while putting my broken foot up in bed, I've started to edit some pictures from the beginning of my holiday.
My girlfriend and I spent the first few days of this year's summer holidays together on the shores of beautiful Lake Biel (SWITZERLAND). Just outside the town of Biel there is a small white cottage right on the water and behind it is a small forest. An ideal place to relax and recharge your batteries. In between relaxing on a deckchair and taking a refreshing dip in the cool waters of Lake Biel, I occasionally took a few photos of the surroundings, the view, water birds, fishermen and the lake, of course without really moving. I was particularly pleased when I was allowed to photograph a beaver on its way back from its kill early in the morning. This was also the first beaver in the wild that I had seen with my own eyes.
When editing the pictures, I savoured the free time I now had due to the break by experimenting with new editing methods, vignetting and a new frame.
#espanol En realidad, mis vacaciones deberían haber terminado ya. Pero ahora que me he roto el quinto hueso metatarsiano del pie derecho durante un paseo, mi tiempo libre se ha prolongado involuntariamente. Para no aburrirme mientras espero las citas con el médico y mientras meto el pie roto en la cama, he empezado a editar algunas fotos del principio de mis vacaciones.
Mi novia y yo pasamos juntos los primeros días de las vacaciones de verano de este año a orillas del hermoso lago de Biel (SUIZA). A las afueras de la ciudad de Biel hay una casita blanca justo en el agua y detrás un pequeño bosque. Un lugar ideal para relajarse y recargar las pilas. Entre relajarme en una tumbona y darme un refrescante chapuzón en las frescas aguas del lago de Biel, de vez en cuando sacaba algunas fotos de los alrededores, las vistas, las aves acuáticas, los pescadores y el lago, por supuesto sin moverme realmente. Me alegré especialmente cuando me permitieron fotografiar un castor que volvía de su presa a primera hora de la mañana. También era el primer castor salvaje que veía con mis propios ojos.
Al editar las fotos, aproveché el tiempo libre que me dejaba la pausa para experimentar con nuevos métodos de edición, viñeteado y un nuevo encuadre.

It looks like you had an unexpectedly extended holiday, but you made the most of it with photography good friend. Getting a beaver in the wild must have been an amazing experience.
