A CITY DIVIDED IN TWO (D/ENG/ESP) - A new entry for Photography Lovers
Over the turn of the year 22/23, my girlfriend and I made a small round trip via Gibraltar towards the province of Malaga (Spain) in the Andalusian Sierra. On the way, we passed by Ronda, the largest of the well-known white villages.
The town is divided into two parts by a 120-metre-deep gorge. The old part was built majestically on a steeply sloping plateau, and is connected to the new part of Ronda by an imposing bridge. At many places you can enjoy an incredible view into the Andalusian hinterland, or deep into the gorge, on a pedestrian panorama path or in a panorama restaurant.

Is this already a part of Spain? I love the hillside buildings. Looks dangerously amazing and beautiful at the same time.
yes...this is totally Spain. The region is called Andalusia and is known for its white villages, mostly built on the hillside and close together.
Beautiful I hope I could visit the region one day since I'm getting closer 😄
Andalusia is a popular place to spend the winter when the European cold gets too much. I've been here for a month on the Andalusian Costa de Luz.
A month is quite a long time to enjoy the place. You could get attached to such a beautiful place.
somehow it's not enough...and I'll see if I can arrange it again for next year.
...and I went swimming in the Atlantic Ocean today.,,😉🏊
How was the water? Is it cold or just right?
Water and air are just about 18°C...it takes a bit of effort to go in (I'm used to warmer water, like in Sept/October in the west of France with 23°C). But once you're in, the water is bearable. It's just important to dress warmly after swimming. And it makes you a bit proud to swim in the Atlantic in December/January.
