The Arrival of the New Parrot 🐦

Hi, animal-loving friends! I'm stopping by to share with you these photos I took of the parrot my mother-in-law brought over. At first, it was scared and wouldn't let me hold it or anything like that.

But after a while, he started talking and became more confident; we held out our finger, and he climbed onto it, then we gave him a mango, and it seemed like he really liked it.

I started talking to him and whistling, and he would imitate me, and my girlfriend said to me, “The parrot responds more to you than to us,” and we started laughing. My father-in-law built him a cage so he wouldn’t escape, and every time it rains, he calls out for someone to put the cage lid on so he doesn’t get wet. And when a neighbor or relative rings the doorbell, the parrot answers with a “Heyyyyy!”
