My collection of antique watches

Hello, friends of #Hive. As you may know, I am a lover of antique collection. Today I want to show you my collection of antique clocks. Both wall clocks and table clocks.

To begin with, I want to do it with wall clocks. One of my most prized treasures is this clock, a German Clock-JungHans dating back to the early 1880's, made in Schramberg. I'm not going to lie to you, when I acquired it, it was in a state that we could call beyond repair; thanks to a friend who is an antique restorer and works in a museum, so his contribution in these pieces, mainly in this clock was fundamental. Thanks to his intervention, today it looks as if time had not passed through it. Its wood was completely replaced, turning it into a true renaissance. It works, although it is standing still, as I don't want to cause it wear and tear.

Moving on to the next beauty in my collection, I present to you two Antique 19th Century Victorian Mechanical Pendulum Wall Clocks are German. Both are in excellent condition, with their mechanisms working as the first day and, best of all, preserving the original wood. It's like having a little piece of history in my house. Despite being a type of clock very well known and appreciated by collectors, I have not done much more research on them.

Now I start with the table clocks, a glass domed pendulum clock, Haller brand. This functional charm, of German origin and post 1920, despite being one of the smallest has a simplicity and beauty that I love. Although it is currently partially disassembled as my intention is to preserve its preservation, it is a true work of art. The attention to detail and the rotating design of its pendulum make it one of the more modern items in my collection, but no less attractive for that.

The last of these clocks I don't have much information, I only know that it is from the beginning of the 20th century. You can see that it says Casa Orozco, but the research I have done has not helped me much. A specialist told me it was German, but I have serious doubts about it.
And here I am, next to these treasures of time, marveling at the story they tell. Sometimes I wonder who the original owners were, and what their journey was to get here. That's why I love antiques, not just because of their value, but to hold in my hands an object that is over 100 or even 200 years old.
