History and beauty in one place
Hello, friends. Today I am going to tell you about my experience in a historic place full of beauty: the Trinidad History Museum or also known as Palace Cantero, founded in 1827. This place is not only located in an impressive mansion in the city, but it also houses an incredible amount of historical pieces that enchanted me and made me ask myself questions.

As soon as you enter, you find yourself in the living room of the house, and already there you realize how wonderful the neoclassical style decoration is. Everything has that period touch that makes you admire from the ceiling to the smallest piece. Of all, the decoration of the furniture, the crackle porcelain pieces and that imposing chandelier that is a symbol of social status.
As I continued into the interior I found a gateway around a courtyard in which there are several imposing pieces, a majestic bell and two cannons that give an air of historical fortress to the place. The inner courtyard with the fountain is simply beautiful.
But the most impressive thing is not an object. How could it be that an object is not the best thing in the museum? This is very simple to understand, as the museum has a lookout from which you can contemplate the whole city. The views are simply magnificent, and I never tired of admiring them, from where you can admire everything, absolutely everything.
Among all the pieces in the museum, many captured my attention, but there was one in particular that caught my attention. It was a ship's anchor found in one of the rooms. I was told it was from a Spanish ship from the 1800's, but that only added to my intrigue. What was the name of the ship? What happened to it? They suggested I come on a weekday to look through the archives and find out more about this fascinating piece. Since it was Saturday and the archive workers were away. You know how much I want to come back and accept the invitation to unravel this mystery or at least satisfy my curiosity.

The place is great. I loved every corner, and the views from the lookout are something I don't think I could ever get bored of seeing, hard to put into words the awe I felt while admiring the city. If you visit trinidad and intend to enjoy the views of a colonial place, this is the place, the Museum of History of Trinidad.
