¡Feliz día a todas las madres! [ESP - ENG]
Ayer fue un día especial, un día para honrar a las mujeres que han sido pilares fundamentales en nuestras vidas: nuestras madres y abuelas. En mi caso, pasé el día con dos mujeres excepcionales: mi mamá y mi abuela. Aunque el tiempo avanza y las circunstancias cambian, su amor y apoyo siguen siendo inquebrantables.
Comenzamos el día con una comida que compramos juntos. Las charlas divertidas y llenas de anécdotas nos hicieron reír y recordar momentos compartidos. Pero lo más significativo fueron los regalos que les entregué.
Hace un mes, tuve la suerte de encontrar el regalo perfecto para mi abuela. Le di un cuadro con fotos de sus nietos e hijos. Sus ojos se iluminaron al ver las imágenes que capturaban momentos felices y recuerdos familiares. Casi lloró de emoción, y yo también. Fue un gesto pequeño, pero lleno de amor y gratitud.
Yesterday was a special day, a day to honor the women who have been fundamental pillars in our lives: our mothers and grandmothers. In my case, I spent the day with two exceptional women: my mom and my grandmother. Although time marches on and circumstances change, their love and support remain unwavering.
We started the day with a meal we bought together. Fun talks full of anecdotes made us laugh and reminisce about shared moments. But most meaningful were the gifts I gave them.
A month ago, I was lucky enough to find the perfect gift for my grandmother. I gave her a picture frame with photos of her grandchildren and children. Her eyes lit up when she saw the images that captured happy moments and family memories. She almost cried with emotion, and I did too. It was a small gesture, but full of love and gratitude.
Para mi madre, elegí algo más práctico pero igualmente significativo. Sabía que le hacía falta un cepillo que también funcionara como secador de pelo. Desde hace tiempo, había deseado uno, y ver su rostro de sorpresa y alegría cuando lo recibió me llenó de satisfacción. Aunque fue un regalo material, sé que representa mi cariño y reconocimiento hacia ella.
No hay palabras suficientes para expresar el amor que siento por estas dos mujeres. Ellas me dieron la vida, me criaron con amor y dedicación, y siguen siendo mi refugio en los momentos difíciles. Ayer, pudimos salir de la rutina y simplemente ser felices juntos. Esos momentos son los que atesoro y valoro profundamente.
Así que, en este Día de las Madres, celebremos a todas las mujeres que nos han dado tanto. Agradezcamos sus sacrificios, su amor incondicional y su presencia constante en nuestras vidas. ¡Feliz día a todas las madres! 🌸💕
For my mother, I chose something more practical but equally meaningful. I knew she needed a brush that doubled as a hair dryer. She had wanted one for a long time, and seeing her face of surprise and joy when she received it filled me with satisfaction. Although it was a material gift, I know that it represents my affection and appreciation for her.
There are not enough words to express the love I feel for these two women. They gave me life, raised me with love and dedication, and continue to be my refuge in difficult times. Yesterday, we were able to get out of the routine and just be happy together. Those moments are the ones I treasure and value deeply.
