Gymnocalycium mihanovichii variegata
I took these photos while visiting one of the plant nurseries.
This time I also managed to photograph the price of Gymnocalycium mihanovichii variegata.
Maybe it will be interesting for you too.
But keep in mind that the pots are small, their size is 5.5 cm.
In my opinion it is expensive.
Since I doubt that the cactus will retain its variability.
Why do I think so?
For the reason that once I bought Mammillaria variegata.
After a year and a half, it became completely green.
I looked for information on the Internet where they wrote that variability is not guaranteed, that with age the cactus will lose it.
Because Variability is a deviation from the norm!
And such cacti are likely to die.
Do any of you have experience growing cactus variegata?
The photos I were taken with a Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70L tablet
Wow! Very colourful! But sharp spikes!
I don't grow variegated plants, it's too hot and sunny and they don't do well for me, I don't really understand why people are so mad for variegation. I sometomes get variegation in my succulents naturally that they grow out of and I think it's from thrips that transmit a virus
I also can not say that I am delighted with the variegated.
I like when there are drawings on the leaves.
