A veces el mejor detonante para la inspiración, es el estrés. Ya les había comentado antes que he estado viendo un curso de diseño gráfico, el cual ya estoy a punto de terminar, solo falta hacer la entrega del proyecto final. Este curso duró un poco más de 4 meses, en realidad era un Master, entonces se abarcaron muchas cosas con respecto a Adobe Photoshop y Adobe Illustrator. Para mí el inicio fue extremadamente fácil, ya que conocía desde hace mucho tiempo la interfaz y muchísimas cosas de Photoshop, pero a la hora de ilustrar, donde pensé que también se me haría fácil, resulto ser un poco lo contrario. Aunque también debo decir que, el problema no ilustrar como tal, sino que aún no me acostumbro a la interfaz y que realmente no he practicado demasiado como debería.

Sometimes the best trigger for inspiration is stress. I had already told you before that I've been watching a graphic design course, which I'm about to finish, I just need to deliver the final project. This course lasted a little more than 4 months, actually it was a Master, so it covered a lot of things regarding Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. For me the beginning was extremely easy, since I knew for a long time the interface and many things about Photoshop, but when it came to illustrating, where I thought it would also be easy, it turned out to be a little bit the opposite. Although I must also say that, the problem is not illustrating as such, but that I am still not used to the interface and that I haven't really practiced as much as I should.

De igual forma, me lo tomé con calma, ya que tendré mucho más tiempo libre para practicar sobre Illustrator que es mi punto débil. Y a la hora de hacer el proyecto final mi mente explotó un poco. Para que estén en contexto, teníamos que entregar un logo, un "isotipo" exactamente. Y aquí entran 2 cosas a juego, o quizás 3. Primero, he trabajado con marketing, sé que hacer un logo no es solo ilustrar y ya, entonces esa parte lógica de mí me estaba carcomiendo mientras intentaba pensar. Luego, yo práctico en tiempo real, es decir, mis prácticas más importantes son cuando voy a entrar algo que va a ser publicado o que yo voy a publicar, y ciertamente no tenía un logo pendiente ni nada por el estilo, así que me costaba empezar. Y por "último" he tenido unos días de mierda, emocionalmente, así que realmente necesitaba ayuda y mi estrés fue el impulso para hacer este logo que ve está en la imagen.

Anyway, I took it easy, since I will have much more free time to practice on Illustrator which is my weak point. And when it came time to do the final project my mind exploded a bit. To put it in context, we had to deliver a logo, an "isotype" exactly. And here 2 things come into play, or maybe 3. First, I've worked with marketing, I know that making a logo is not just illustrating and that's it, so that logical part of me was eating away at me while I was trying to think. Then, I practice in real time, that is, my most important practices are when I'm going to enter something that's going to be published or that I'm going to publish, and I certainly didn't have a logo pending or anything like that, so I was having a hard time getting started. And for "last" I've had a crappy few days, emotionally, so I really needed help and my stress was the impetus to make this logo that you see is in the image.

¿Para qué es? Mi mamá me dio la idea que, le hiciera un logo a ella, para sus proyectos de costura. Y ustedes pensarán que, sería una práctica en tiempo real, que sí sería algo con un fin y que se va a usar. Pero, yo la conozco, sé que solo lo tendrá guardado, pero la idea fue suficiente. Después, estuve unas muchas horas haciendo bocetos, en mi agenda, y después de descartar muchos y de fracasar dos veces llevando algunos bocetos a Illustrator. Por fin logre este resultado, del cual no documente mucho, solo las capturas de la imagen anterior. Pero se los puedo definir como 3 agujas y un hilo, formando 3 pétalos de una flor. Algo sencillo, bonito, con colores tranquilos que sé que le gustan y un significado que va desde elementos claves, a la feminidad. Entonces, para ser el primero, no lo veo tan horrible, aunque sigue sin ser perfecto. Y como amo documentar todo, sé que en varios meses volveré a leer esto y me reiré de mí misma jaja, nos leemos pronto!

What is it for? My mom gave me the idea that, I would make a logo for her, for her sewing projects. And you would think that, it would be a real time practice, that yes it would be something with a purpose and that it is going to be used. But, I know her, I know she'll just have it saved, but the idea was enough. Then, I spent many hours making sketches, in my agenda, and after discarding many and failing twice taking some sketches to Illustrator. I finally achieved this result, of which I didn't document much, just the screenshots of the previous image. But I can define it as 3 needles and a thread, forming 3 petals of a flower. Something simple, pretty, with calm colors that I know you like and a meaning that goes from key elements, to femininity. So, for a first, I don't see it as horrible, although it's still not perfect. And since I love documenting everything, I know that in several months I will read this again and laugh at myself haha, see you soon!
