Yo llevaba más de un año con el cabello en color naranja, con un cobrizo que, la verdad, es demasiado bonito, pero que honestamente me ha cansado un poco. Yo pensaba durar mucho más de un año, dos o más, incluso, con el cabello de este color. E incluso pensé que después del naranja capaz iba a ir por un rojo o un violeta. Pero la verdad es que tengo el cabello demasiado corto para mi gusto, así que lo mejor que pude decidir, fue oscurecerlo para trabajar en nutrirlo y que crezca mucho mejor. I forgot to mention that I decided to darken my hair. I had been wearing orange hair for over a year, with a coppery tone that, truth be told, is really pretty, but honestly, I got a little tired of it. I thought I would keep this hair color for much longer than a year, maybe two or even more. I even thought that after orange, I might go for red or purple. But the truth is that my hair is too short for my liking, so the best I could decide was to darken it to work on nourishing it and making it grow much better. Maybe what I do next, once my hair has recovered, will be something else, but we'll see about that later. In the meantime, I want to tell you what I've been doing.

Lo primero que hice fue ubicar un tinte. Yo en esta oportunidad estuve probando uno de la marca que era mix, que la verdad nunca había probado y que estaba muy económico, un poquito más de cuatro dólares y venía con su agua oxigenada. Me estuve comprando el tono 6.75, que era como un castaño Carmelo. El mismo día que me lo compré, me lo estuvo aplicando a mi mamá, cosa que nunca pasa, pero que me quiso ayudar y se puede observar que tenía el cabello bastante naranja, a pesar de todo, el tinte me agarró bastante bien y me oscureció el color. Yo sentía que estaba como castaño rojizo, no me desagradaba y se veía bastante parejo.

The first thing I did was find some hair dye. This time, I tried a brand called Mix, which I had never tried before and was very inexpensive, a little over four dollars, and came with hydrogen peroxide. I bought shade 6.75, which was a caramel brown. The same day I bought it, my mom applied it for me, which never happens, but she wanted to help me. You can see that my hair was quite orange, but despite everything, the dye took quite well and darkened the color. I felt like it was reddish brown, which I didn't dislike, and it looked quite even.

Un tiempo después se me veía un poquito más oscuro, lo cual estaba genial, pero ya en estas alturas, que ha pasado como casi un mes de eso, siento que se me ha aclarado. Lo positivo es que no ha vuelto a ser naranja del todo. No sé muy bien, qué color de cabello tengo ahorita. En la luz del sol se me ve bastante claro y en condiciones normales se me ve como un castaño. Lo que voy a seguir haciendo es oscurecer. Me voy a comprar otro tinte, ya sea en tono castaño puro o castaño medio. No quiero aplicarme un castaño oscuro, porque eso es casi un negro y es un color que no quiero tener en mi cabello otra vez. Obviamente, lo he estado nutriendo, siento que todavía me faltan muchas cosas como mis mascarillas y ampollas de confianza, que espero comprarlas bastante pronto, para que mi cabello vuelva a agarrar vida. Obviamente, esto va a ser un proceso de bastantes meses y quizás cuando ya tenga el Cabello bastante recuperado pueda que me lo aclare un poco, siento que es un color al que quiero regresar a un castaño, claro que llevé por muy poquito tiempo, pero que la verdad me gustaba muchísimo y mi prioridad honestamente es tener el cabello largo otra vez. Como les mencioné, será un proceso largo, así que seguramente me verán por acá compartiéndoles un poco cuando tenga actualizaciones nuevas. I'm going to buy another dye, either pure brown or medium brown. I don't want to use dark brown, because that's almost black, and it's a color I don't want to have in my hair again. Obviously, I've been nourishing it, but I feel like I'm still missing a lot of things, like my trusted masks and ampoules, which I hope to buy soon, so that my hair can come back to life. Obviously, this is going to be a process that takes several months, and maybe when my hair has recovered enough, I might lighten it a little. I feel like I want to go back to a brown color, which I wore for a very short time, but I really liked it a lot, and my priority is honestly to have long hair again.
