Si leyeron mis 3 reviews sobre "Una corte de rosas y espinas", sabrán que yo estoy amando esta serie literaria y que se ha convertido en uno de mis favoritos, y lo atesoraré por siempre. La semana pasada les estuve compartiendo mis opiniones sobre el 3.º libro de esta saga, y como yo leo por orden, debería venir el cuarto, pero vamos a hacer un break para hablarles sobre una novela que se debe leer justo después del 3.º libro, la cual nos cuenta los point of view de los protagonistas después de la guerra contra Hybern. Y por esta vez, no iré en orden de lectura, sino de mi opinión de cada uno de los personajes.

Last week I was sharing with you my opinions about the 3rd book of this saga, and as I read in order, the fourth one should come, but we are going to make a break to talk about a novel that should be read right after the 3rd book, which tells us the point of view of the main characters after the war against Hybern. And for this time, I won't go in order of reading, but of my opinion of each of the characters.

Si bien Mor y Az son unos de los personajes más tranquilos de esta historia, por así decirlo, también tienen sus complicaciones internas. Y dudo mucho cuando pienso en ellos, juntos, puesto que se ven los sentimientos, pero al mismo tiempo han pasado siglos de amistad entre ellos para sentirse correctos, desde mi punto de vista. Vemos qué Mor se aleja, no solo por su misión, sino para estar sola, pensar, ponerse en otro y volver para el solsticio de invierno. Y Azriel aunque tiene su misión con ilirios, noté su interés en Elain, inocente, pero ahí estaba, lo cual me hace dudar de su próximo movimiento.

While Mor and Az are some of the quieter characters in this story, so to speak, they also have their inner complications. And I hesitate a lot when I think of them, together, since you see the feelings, but at the same time they've spent centuries of friendship between them to feel right, in my view. We see which Mor moves away, not only for her mission, but to be alone, to think, to put herself in another and come back for the winter solstice. And Azriel although he has his mission with Illyrians, I noticed his interest in Elain, innocent, but there he was, which makes me doubt his next move.

Para entrar en territorio complicado, Nesta. Ella debe ser el personaje que más odio de esta serie. Mientras yo respire, Nesta tendrá un Hater. Y antes que alguien me diga que conoceré su historia en el libro 4, déjenme decirles que ya lo leí y sigo siendo su Hater. En esta novela, vemos el momento exacto en el que Nesta se aleja de su familia, su trauma con la muerte de su padre y cómo va entrando en ese abismo de oscuridad y depresión. Que coraje tengo atorado desde que Feyre la invitó al solsticio y prácticamente tuvo que pagarle para que lo hiciera! Y hablando de solsticio, Cassian es uno de los personajes más dulces, aunque sí es un guerrero bien entrenado. Sus sentimientos por ella, comprarle un regalo y que ella lo rechaza, provocando que él tirara el regalo al río Sidra, de las mejores escenas, aunque bien triste.

To get into complicated territory, Nesta. She has to be the character I hate the most in this series. As long as I draw breath, Nesta will have a Hater. And before anyone tells me that I'll know her story in book 4, let me tell you that I already read it and I'm still her Hater. In this novel, we see the exact moment when Nesta becomes estranged from her family, her trauma with the death of her father and how she is going into that abyss of darkness and depression. What courage I've been stuck with since Feyre invited her to the solstice and practically had to pay her to do it! And speaking of Solstice, Cassian is one of the sweetest characters, though yes he is a well trained warrior. His feelings for her, buying her a gift and her rejecting it, causing him to throw the gift into the Sidra River, one of the best scenes, albeit a sad one.

Y mis protagonistas favoritos, tampoco la pasaron muy bien, pero no por problemas entre ellos sino por traumas internos. Vemos a Feyre como Alta Lady de la Corte Noche y junto con Rhys reconstruyendo Velaris. Ambos enfocados en hacer que las cosas funcionen, aun con sus heridas internas. Rhys solo quiere ver feliz a Feyre, luchar por su gente y tener un lindo solsticio. Y Feyre vuelve a pintar, aunque le haya costado muchísimo. De mis partes favoritas fue el final, cuando ella decidió abrir un estudio para pintar y al mismo tiempo enseñar a niños de forma gratuita. Y cuando Feyre le da su regalo a Rhys, la visión de un futuro hijo entre ellos, al mismo tiempo que Rhys le compra una hacienda para que ella construya una casa para su familia, sencillamente un lindo momento.

And my favorite protagonists, they didn't have a very good time either, but not because of problems between them but because of internal traumas. We see Feyre as High Lady of the Night Court and together with Rhys rebuilding Velaris. Both focused on making things work, even with their internal wounds. Rhys just wants to see Feyre happy, fight for his people and have a nice solstice. And Feyre is painting again, even if it took a lot of hard work. Of my favorite parts was the end, when she decided to open a studio to paint and at the same time teach children for free. And when Feyre gives her gift to Rhys, the vision of a future child between them, at the same time that Rhys buys her an estate for her to build a house for her family, simply a nice moment.

Esta es una novela corta, debe tener unas 220 páginas y la verdad es suave de leer. Podemos ver la narración desde el punto de vista de Feyre y Rhys, pero también un punto de vista en 3.ª persona de nuestros otros protagonistas. Se siente como un epílogo bien largo, tranquilo, con detalles que dejan ganas de más y es bastante cálida de leer. Me gustó mucho, ya quiero traerles mi opinión del último libro (por ahora) de esta serie, nos leemos pronto!

This is a short novel, it should be about 220 pages long and it is a smooth read. We get to see the narrative from Feyre and Rhys' point of view, but also a 3rd person point of view from our other main characters. It feels like a nice long epilogue, quiet, with details that leave you wanting more and it's quite warm to read. I liked it a lot, I already want to bring you my opinion of the last book (for now) of this series, see you soon!
