Reaching For The Moon.

Yesterday October 8th around past 9pm, the moon appeared again. Looking out my window, I spotted it, still quite bright and visible in the sky. No, it wasn't a full moon, but was about 80% illumination. The full moon, called "Harvest Moon" had already appeared on October 6 - 7. A colleague who witnessed it said that it was so bright that he could pick a pin on the ground.

Unfortunately, I missed witnessing the full moon again, so seeing it make another appearance filled me with excitement, at least I didn't miss out completely. As I gazed at the moon, I felt a sudden urge to reach for it. In fact, I think I heard it gentle whisper, "Come get me." "Really?, You're kidding me, right?" I asked. "The heck I am", it replied.

Picking up my phone, I stepped outside, into the cold chilly night to do the moon's bidding. Lol. Since I'm not an alien like @fashtioluwa who could go to the sky and take snapshots of the moon up there, I decided to get creative.

Oh, hold tight dear moon, I'm right here to catch you when you fall. Lol.

Capturing the moon's details in low light proved a bit challenging. In fact, my first attempts weren't great, the photos didn't do it justice. The moon's brightness also make it tricky to get the perfect shot. So I applied light effects and the outcome seemed better.

It was fun doing this, thanks to the moon for leading me on, and would probably do more of it, hopefully.
