Insects In The Garden

Hello friends, welcome to my blog. It's been a while since I posted here. But today I want to show you photos of grasshopper and preying mantis I captured some time ago.

I had visited mom and needed some vegetables so I went to her garden to get some, and as I wanted to cut this particular branch, I saw this grasshopper under it. Ahaa! now I've got some work to do so I quietly took my phone and started snapping it.

At some point it I felt that it noticed that someone was there because it started circling the branch of vegetable leaf I was holding and at at each turn, I captured it while still holding the leaf.

After getting some shots of the grasshopper, I continued with cutting the leaves, then I saw this preying mantis. I also started snapping it. Just like the grasshopper, it started crawling away from one leaf to the other and I still continued snapping.

With the color of the insect being green matching the leaves, it takes only one with sharp eyes to notice that there was a preying mantis there.

If you look closely you will see that some of the photos are blurred, that's because the grasshopper was in motion and the leaf was also moving due to the wind and because of that it was a bit difficult to get clear shots but I tried the best way I can.
