Another Unplanned Walk.

Some walks just happen, you don't plan them. That's how I found myself taking an impromptu brief walk the other day.

I had spent the night at my parents’ place. Morning, I hit the road. Got to the main road where I was supposed to pick a ride home, but there was nothing in sight. The road was empty, almost deserted.

The sky was misty and overcast, and the weather... cold, an aftermath of the previous day's rain.

Time was going and I was already feeling cold and restless standing still. So I decided to walk instead of waiting there, hoping a ride would show up before I get to the next bus stop.

Up ahead, I spotted this guy walking his dogs. I smiled and thought to myself; "This walk wasn't actually a bad idea". Lol.

Immediately, I pulled out my phone, zoomed in and got some shots before they disappeared into the next street.

Still, no ride in sight.

I continued walking and equally captured more shots along the way.

Beautiful place. That's the village town hall.

Finally, some rides are coming along.

Finally, a Keke tricycle pulled up and picked me up, ending the walk.

It was a short walk, but it taught me one thing:

Sometimes you just have to move.

If I had stayed there, I would have missed the dogs, the shots, and the small moment.

I love a good trek when I'm not expecting a car or something, but as you've said the rain looks to have probably kept a lot of commuters in their house. The mist gives the picture a different good look

Yeah, this part of the city is usually not so awake in the early mornings and the rain even contributed to it. It's a village, though, so it's expected.

Thanks a bunch.
