A Morning With A Feathered Entertainer - SMAP 251

Some time last week, I visited a baking supply shop to purchase flour and other ingredients for chinchin, only to find that the owner hadn't arrived yet. I stood contemplating what to do next.

I had a lot on my plate for the day, so the plan to go there early, grab the stuffs before his numerous customers begin to arrive, and then head home to continue with other things planned for the day. But it seems like fate had other plans.

Since that's the only shop one can get baking materials around that vicinity, I had no choice but to wait - for how long? No idea. Just wait....

As I waited, my attention was captured by this feathered friend on a feeding spree. Lol. The bird, a pigeon was pecking at grains on the ground, it's movements demonstrating the intelligence and alertness of these often-underestimated birds.

Even as it foraged, it remained vigilant, constantly scanning its surroundings for potential threats. I was fascinated by its focused yet cautious demeanor, and I found myself entertained by its simple yet purposeful actions.

"I need to capture this before it flies away", I said to myself. So I quickly reached for my phone and began taking snapshots of the pigeon as it foraged.

I even moved a bit closer, though quietly, while trying to get clearer shots.

After a few clicks, it noticed someone approaching and before you could say Jack, it flew away, up onto the roof of a building across the road. "End of show, damn", I muttered. Lol.

Just then, the shop owner arrived and within some minutes, attended to me. Thereafter, I headed home, thankful for the pigeon's company, which was a delightful moment.
